Don't pay $10 a month for an app that rarely works. Of course, after you change your keyfob battery for the 4th time app start looks nice. why do all the links try to install chrome app? Why can't I open with my default browser? status updates can be next to useless. "Today at 10am. Alert! Your driver door is unlocked" status last updated yesterday at 5pm. I checked. Everything is locked. App still thinks it's unlocked. Manual update does absolutely

This app fails to log in constantly, making remote start unreliable when I need it. It lacks features many other manufacturers offer and struggles with basic functionality. Clearing cache or reinstalling does nothing. Mazda should be embarrassed by this, and it’s surprising they’ve let it go on for so long. Fix your software, upgrade your servers, and deliver an app that reflects the quality of your vehicles. This is unacceptable in 2025.

When it was free, it was perfectly acceptable, but now that it's paid, it leaves things to be desired. App is slow to open and connect, some days taking over minute just to be able to send a command. Also the notifications for doors left open or unlocked come way late, sometimes a half hour after I've already closed or locked it. I've had better experiences with other makes connect features. That said, I'll be keeping this in the winter, it's cheaper than getting a remote start aonther way.

This app has potential. Here are a few problems: - the app ignores do not disturb. I get notifications that the car is charged at 4 am, even though do not disturb is on - the notification categories are not sufficient. You can't decide what status updates you want other than a few broad categories, and half of them don't really make any sense - remote charge always fails. I have never seen it not fail. Fix these issues and it will be a pretty useful app!

Like so many other reviews, if I'm paying for the app for basic functions for my car, the app should work. Every time. Remote start is basic on every other comparable vehicle these days, but other companies don't charge an additional fee for it. And maybe there was some fine print I didn't read, but when buying my car 4 years ago and asked about remote start, nobody told me that the app they told me to download would one day no longer be free. And it DOESN'T EVEN OPEN!

Remote start works about 60% of the time for me. Its almost like you could have utilized the massive amount of dead space on the key fob for another button or two. If ur gonna make us use an app, atleast let us set seasonal settings for AC, defrosting, heating, etc. What a lame companion app. Update: a year and a half later and it still sucks. Tried remote starting my car 3 times and none of them worked, sitting in a frozen car now. This app sucks. Pretty useless.

Overall it's a good app. Only comments are First and foremost: Who thought it was a good idea for only 2 starts before needing to sit in the car and start it?! I live where it gets to -40F. At least make it 2 starts per hour or something like that. 1-speed up the authentication to open it. 2-listing every notification message on the icon is annoying. 3-Make it easier (less steps) to get to the message that is current/unread

The app looks great, premium look and feel, but the connectivity has issues. I think the login token or some other authentication function times out really quickly so I either see no car status info or out of date info when I switch back to the app with multitasking in Android. Also the charging start/stop function makes me nervous every time I use it, and it feels like it needs redesigning with the reality of the two minute wait for phone to car communication in mind.
