Once you get logged in, the app is user friendly! Note: your login credentials for the website and app are different, but if you get locked out of one, you get locked out of both. I unfortunately did not receive alerts to submit receipts for medical purchases until the card was temporarily inactived. However the app provides easy upload for receipts, and has a scanning feature to check eligibility of an item! 👏

The interface has a number of glaring deficiencies that make it unnecessarily hard for the user to navigate where they need to go and complete they're business. One small example is where passwords are masked and no means has been provided to unmask and show what you're typing. Another example is the fact that although providers can be entered, when making a reimbursement request, their is no drop-down list from which to pick a previously entered provider.

Impossible to login. Once you enter you password, the app refreshes and prompts for login again. This is because it is simply a container for the website, not an app. Also, there is no support for passwords manager apps.

Easy enough to use. Haven't figured out how to save provider so I don't have to enter same info in everytime I submit for reimbursement on HSA Dependent Care. Pain to do it, but will continue to if I want to be paid back.
A Google user
Login fails every time. The web experience isn't much better but at least it can handle basic authorization. UPDATE: Over one year later and they still haven't fixed the login. Probably not going to contribute to Alerus next year because of this app.

So far so good. Just started using it. Will update after more use ***For those having login issues, the website says your have to set up an different App password. Click on forgot password and set it up. Not that hard to read directions.

GARBAGE APP THAT MAKES YOU FEEL CRAZY. Seriously... Can we get ONE response from the developers? I've gone back through the reviews 4 years, and it's the same complaint. I changed my password, thinking it was me. I literally cannot log into this app using my Alerus *verified* information 🤣.

Terrible app, terrible company! Won't accept my credentials on the app even though it will on the web. Same credentials. Half the time it won't work even on the web! If I could give them minus 5 stars I would. Unfortunately I can't. It's like this company does not care!!
