Thunee, after the Tamil word for water, is a popular trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. Thunee is derived from the game 304 popular in India and Sri Lanka.You can play Single Player or Multiplayer. Either way you will get the best thunee gaming experience ever in an app . It's a simulation of the real thing.

With multiplayer you can invite someone to be your partner or challenge them to a game. Easy to invite others using push notifications of whatsapp messages. The results and stats of games played with friends is stored and shown on the statistics page. Use it to boast about whose the best player in your circle.
Easy difficulty help beginners to learn the game with assistance and narration in play.
This app is fully customizable via settings/options where you can set it to the way you play or the style you like. Change options like:
- Choose between Difficulty Hard, Medium or Easy
- Choose to have score assistance for Medium & Easy. Get trick/hand values as they close and real time score.
- Choose when to be asked to bid (All the time or only when you have 3 or more of the same suit or J9).
- Offer win or loss early if you or your opponents have scored more than the required amount (set to on by default)
- Allow you to claim victory early (including Double and Khanuck claims)
- You can choose the length of time to take to clear a trick (hand). You can also choose to click on trick to clear. Note even if a duration is set you can click on trick earlier to clear it. (the default time is 1 sec)
- Includes vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, etc.
- Customize game appearance by changing background (or choose your own color with vignette effect). Change card packs.
- Choose to include Royals (Thunee with value of cards reversed ... Queens becomes Jacks, Kings becomes Nines, etc

Updated app first.. thereafter when I played, had to abandon game twice . The issue was No cards were being dealt mid game. Its like it froze but if I press the back button, it tells me I will be penalized. I pressed back to see if something would happen in screen. I did not abandon game. Well aware of the penalties !

Great game, it's frustrating and unfortunate that players (sore losers) are not penalised for force closing the app while they are in a losing position in order to maintain their 'unbeaten' streaks.....only to rejoin and repeat the same maneuver

This is by far the best online version of Thunee that I have ever played. The entire experience is impressive and is a very well thought out accurate representation of a game that is very dear to me. Well done to Ugen and team on an excellent offering. I hope to resolve the "ad blocker" issue soon on my side so that I can get back to it. Give it a go guys, there will be no turning back.

Firstly why can't I play this game offline anymore? Secondly, what's with all these ads? I have an ad blocker so now my screen just says updating when an ad pops up. I think you guys should just make it the way it was before. No ads and available to play offline.

Regarding recent patch: MULTIPLAYER - when trying to invite a person to play with, whether it be opposition or teammate, the game freezes on start. You will be taken to the screen of everyone having 4 cards but nothing happens after.

This game used yo be awesome but each update just keep making it worse. Adds are everywhere now. The latest update causes animation speed to be super fast even after trying to slow it down...it is very distracting and terrible to play now.

It was a 5 star until recently. Us regulars know what happened. It became less about leisure and more about ensuring that the developer wasn't out of pocket. I read your comment Ugen. I empathize. So I've uninstalled the app. To save you having to pay out of your pocket to maintain it.

The game is absolutely incredible. Well done. Some glitches tho. While playing random player people disconnect wen they losing. So u dont get the points. Now m playing rajeshree but m jus waiting for them to play. So they waiting i disconnect so they dont lose poinys n il lose da poinys while am winning. Its so harsh. And really things shud b fair
