Had a lot of fun with this game over quite a few years but finally what beat me were the ads which became very annoying, they come up and run a long time before the game starts, they often don't close unless you install an additional game. You have to shut down the app and then restart it, but you may be penalized by having to play black the next game. The company says that they can't control the ads, well that's a shame. There must be a way of having ads without it being completely annoying.

Can't even start the app and play one single ducking game without a 30sec add. Edit; BETWEEN GAMES, no problem, I understand you people need to make money too. But I boot the game, go to single player, just to play a single game vs comp, and I get your adds before I can even play. And this is not a rare occurrence. I can't skip them, no x appears, have to go through the 30sec for it to go to the game, tapping back and going ingame again only reset the add.

With the new ads popping up before starting the game (10s no way to skip) and now in between and even after the game, this is a complete distraction from playing anymore, that also deters me from even considering purchasing this game. It used to be enjoyable, but not anymore. Get rid of the incessant interruptions or it will be uinstalled.

Nice graphics! Game engine is quick and responsive. Chess engine seems more balanced now from level 1 to 5; I'm able to win at level 5, and I'm rated about 1500 unofficially. The threat indicator visuals are nice idea but to slow to see when you move quick to be useful. I think card games are boring, that's why i play chess, so all your card games ads are wasted advertising on me.

New update makes it so that I cannot find a game at all. the time options are absurd, 1 hour per move as the lowest option is silly, just use standard time formats if you want to implement a clock. back to lichess for now

Same feedback as everyone else. The app was top-notch for several years, but finally had to remove it because the ads have become excessive. I've seen the response to others complaining of the same thing. All I can say is, you may have less ads than most free apps, but that doesn't mean it's not excessive.

Great app. The one super annoying thing -why no shortcut for rematch with the player, that you just finished playing?! It only makes sense. You have to type the whole name, and sometimes you can't even find the simbols they are using in their names. Yes, it does have an option for previous opponents, but not the one that you just finished playing. and most of the time, that is the one you want to play right away, usually if you lost. 😁

I love this chess game... BUT... the difficulty level jumps dramatically from the lowest level to level 3. If the developers want normal people to enjoy this game, they need astronomically smaller jumps in difficulty. I'm not great, but I would think I should be able to win in level 3. But I don't think I can currently. This game is perfect if you are Bobby Fischer or Boris Spassky. But most of my friends don't like it because they can't get above level 1.
