We’ve listened to your feedback and now it’s easier for our Smart Hub 3 and 4 customers to find the pause WiFi feature. It’s now been added to the handy Manage section in the EE app. With Pause WiFi you can pause or freeze your WiFi to the devices you choose, it’s an easy way to help the whole household drift off. Just make sure you’re on the latest version of the EE app, to get this update and a whole lot more.

Held off reviewing the new app until they fixed the teething issues. Initially frustrating to use, now it's more refined and user friendly. One thing to note - the app seems to work better when you're using it on your EE mobile data during peak hours. It's brilliant for the basics, and anything more complicated; thankfully EE has brilliant customer service to fall back on because they kind of dropped the ball with the app. Disclaimer: Mobile only user. No broadband or extra devices/hubs.

Never works. Took over a week for EE to enable WiFi controls - even then, the interface is spotty and slow at best. Also, ordering SIMS just throws you in a never-ending loop of signing in via external webpage, entering details, then signing in again, entering details, and signing in over and over. It seems to get anything done, you must spend an hour chatting with customer service, which is annoying and an unnecessary hassle.

This is an erratic app. It has worked on a very few occasions. Most times, it will ask for an update. Once done, you can use it for that time only & the cycle begins again. Today, I have tried to use the app only for it to wir away trying to connect. I go to see if it needs another update, which is no. Try to open this app at this point, and again, it is unable to connect. Don't have this problem with the MyBt app. Also, since transferring from BT Mobile to EE the WiFi dropout has become ridic!

After the latest update this app no longer works. It just opens a blank screen on my HTC M8. Uninstalled, then reinstalled, but still not working. You can't just uninstall the latest update to go back to the previous version, which would be a useful option, as the previous version worked fine. Why change the app if it was already working correctly? Very poor from EE.7/10/24 Another update, and yet again the App no longer works. It doesn't even open. Come on EE, sort it out !!

If I could tick -10!! Absolute rubbish App & Customer Service. There are a few Advisors who know what they are talking about, but most of them dont! They lie and/or blag their way through the conversation with you. Constant messages/emails are sent to your mobile that all the information you need is on the app! Well, it might be, but you can't get into their Glitchy app to see any information. There is no communication between advisors/departments of BT my previous contract and EE my new one!

The app will not connect to the hub, just buffers constantly and then times out. Every time I try to contact EE, they just tell me I am not the only one and they are looking at it. The first time they told me there was an issue with an update. I don't think they actually know what is wrong and don't care as people are locked in to contract so can do absolutely nothing. I have no way of viewing which devices are connected to my wifi and no way of changing parental controls with regards to timings

Doesn't work most of the time, just spinning circle trying to set up. This has been done already. Essentially unusable. Edit: Why don't you try fixing it, instead of calling the very busy customer services, i'd happily help you test functionality, but's lets face it customer services are just there to tell me you are aware of the problem, and hang up.

App frequently crashes or freezes. Many functions either don't load or don't show at all. App and website were completely down for hours earlier today. My wifi has been trash, to say the least, for almost a week. Just before crashing yesterday, I was able to get a report in, and they claim it will now take until the 14th to be fixed. I just can't understand why they get such high praise despite the repeatedly faulty wifi and terrible App functions. This week has been especially frustrating.
