Love this app! But two things that are lacking compared to the website. It's missing lists! I have some lists I like to add books I find and I can't see the lists or add to them from the app. Another thing is books won't appear on your search of it's all checked out. They should display and let you add your name to the queue hold. Otherwise you think the library doesn't carry it.

The new app has a nicer display and easier navigation, but it's so buggy. It didn't recognize my card information, not even when it scanned the card, and the pick up location is always set to another library yet on the website it has the correct location. Sometimes it will bug out if you try to edit something.

Horrible app, painfully slow. I was hoping this would make renewing books easier, you would think that would be simple enough but this app manages to make it harder and more time consuming than simply driving to the library. Trust me, you will spend less time getting in your car and driving to the library to renew than you would do trying to renew using this app, even in LA rush hour traffic.

The app runs a lot faster compared to the old one. However, it constantly asks for location permissions on startup which I don't want to give it. Also, even though the catalog search has pictures now, it seems like a step back due to the lack of advanced search modifiers.

If you frequent the library, this is a must-have. You can upload your documents ahead of time and easily print them by scanning your library card, you can renew loaned books through the click of a button, and even link a family member's card to renew books for them! Other than that, this app also shows you available ebooks or movies that are also included through having your card! Amazing!!!

Excellent upgrade over the old app. I love the design and features such as viewing the items you have checked out. Left one star off, because I'd like the ability to pay fines inside the app itself.

This is great so you don't have to carry around your library card anymore since the app stores your number and barcode. For those saying they can't log in, you might have the wrong card. LAPL is a completely different library system from LA COUNTY and so your card info won't work.

Can look longer filter by language nor bookmark a book to group to return to later. Not as useful as the former app, lost many useful and necessary features.
