The Your Texas Benefits app is for Texans who have applied for or get:
• SNAP food benefits
• TANF cash help
• Health care benefits (including Medicare Savings Program and Medicaid)

Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone.

To get started, set up a Your Texas Benefits account (if you don’t already have one).

Here are features you can access once you set up your account:

View your cases:
• Check the status of your benefits.
• See your benefit amounts.
• Find out if it’s time to renew your benefits.

Manage account settings:
• Change your password.
• Sign up to go paperless and get notices and forms sent to you on the app.

Applications now submitted in the app seem to have an improvement on their response time. changing the pin without calling and having to hear 5 minutes of voice box prompts every call is amusing and even the fact that I can freeze my card with this app and not having to cancel it only to find it later..is the best part. Want to see each transaction detailing to help keep track of the entire grocery month worth of transactions..well it's all there to be used and seen too.

intentionally broken to reduce spending. Edit for reply to dev: Please. You know exactly what you did. The app constantly redirects to the web page. It's nearly impossible to upload documentation, and even the reference number generator is broken. The whole department is malicious compliance and this app is more of that trend. If the world was just, one of the devs would be required to use the app to apply while the page is down. Bet it would get awesome fast then.

Update: despite several attempts to sign in I was prompted to create a new password. I did and it just keeps telling me to create a new one and now it's locked. It only does this on the app.... There is no new updates for the app itself on Google play Update** As of 2/18/2025 I had to uninstall and re-install the app and now it working New Update: When renewing, after clicking "submit", it says "There is a system error. Please try again later. If you have questions about this error, call 2-1-1.

Hacked! My kids and I are always losing our deserved and well needed benefits that keep getting canceled. I have health issues that can kill me! People in your devices illegally. Can change your emails, phone, even your birthday. Say your kid doesn't live with you. I've been dealing with this for 5 years. yes,I will reach out . the app helps my stalker harassing me.

Very simple application process. Very helpful team member helped with my case. I'm homeless and 55 looking into job training, so my case was kind of trickey. Thx again for all the help and app. is super easy to navigate.

Excellent app for a state HHSC entity, especially for Texas- which one may expect chaotic and cataclysmic achievements with regard to anything internet/tech related from less than gifted, dismal developers of limited and lacking educational backgrounds with an even more devastating skill-set and work ethic, much less any real desire to attain greatness or pursue lofty or some uncharted course with something.

A little clunky, and has some hard-to-figure-out features but overall it is not too bad. I gave it a 5 not because it's perfect! But that there have been improvements.

it sucks it keeps telling me that if u have renewals u will see them here well I haven't seen nothing in there an not only that I've been trying to send u documents for the last 2 weeks an it says I sent u nothing!! u all need to get a better app to were people can use it!!!!!!!
