I recently switched back to Android from an iPhone, where I had zero issues with the Starbucks app. Unfortunately, it seems as though the Seattle based company has given up on maintaining the Android version as I (and many others) have experienced the "system error, please try again later" message when attempting to log in. UPDATE 11/16/24: Seems this is a reset password error. After resetting, was able to log in without issues.

Luckily I didn't have the instability issues other reviewers have had, but this app is still terrible! Prices are not listed on the menu (you have to add the item to your bag first to see the price). The price checkout screen is confusing and offers little flexibility with mixing gift cards with other payment options. And NO CUSTOM TIP OPTION!! Jumps from $2.00 to $5.00, no inbetween. This is just going to screw over the employees when customers choose the low end (if they decide to tip)

I can't log in and it seems others are having the same issue: "System error - please try again later." I've cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, everything. Starbucks doesn't seem to care about this error considering how many people are still experiencing it without a fix; reaching out to support also accomplished nothing. Deleting the app.

I haven't had any major issues prior to the most recent update. Now, there's an error in the app all the time - I can't do anything. I un-installed and reinstalled the app, now I can't sign in. it just says "A system error has occurred. Try again later." Whatever update just went through, it completely messed up the app. Please fix it!

11/15/24: this last update is terrible. I can't reload my card at all. I've tried removing my cc and then adding it back on, Uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works. It's been like this since I updated! What's the point of having the app if I can't use it? Please fix!! I will change my review back to 5 stars when you fix this

I thought I was the only user that was having lagging issues. But after reading other users, now I know I am not the only one and it's not my phone. Granted I have older Samsung Galaxy 9 plus phone, but never had issues before with SB or with any other app. I think I may have to delete the app until it's fixed because I can't deal spending 10 min trying to order a latte. It truly does feel like a win95 desktop.

Like mase from 9/24, scrolling drags down performance to an unusable level, which appears to be from picture loading. I overlooked it because I always get the same thing which is efficient using the past orders menu. However, around the same time the app started having problems switching from wifi to mobile. I've tried airplane mode and others but, reboot is the only way to fix it. Unacceptable. I've stopped going to SB since I can't order ahead. If I wanted constant reboots I'd use windows.

Updated 9/3/2024. App has become super glitchy and slow recently. Previously, App stopped working. Favorite items and stores are gone. Can no longer place orders through the app. *Update. 10/26/2024: Upon logging in the App after an update, I received a "System Error" and was unable to log in. Trying to take a screen shot of the error message I recieved another error message that screenshots are unavailable due to "security policy"
