Must have app for vesc's. Haven't had a single problem with this app. Not a single crash. Data flows smoothly over Bluetooth on the flipsky 75100 V2 pro. The realtime data (dashboard) screen is well layed out and clear to view while riding. Good job. Most premium apps don't even have this level of usability, stability and smoothness.

Unfortunately, 6.05 Android version doesn't connect to my device anymore as of August 19, 2024. "Could not read firmware version." Is there a way to fix this in current version or downgrade my firmware on the android VESC Tool app to 6.02? 8/27 UPDATE: This update/patch fixed this issue. Thank you!!!

VESC tool works as intended, if you get a controller that has Bluetooth capability, you could program the controller with your phone whick is nice and you could use it as a speedometer.

By updating the app from 6.2 to 6.5 my board with Tronic250R started to behave really weird, #1 simple stop doesn't work anymore, #2 now at 10mph the push-back kicks in. I did a new setup from scratch, but that didn't help, I also reflashed the firmware and did the setup again, but the pushback at 10 mph still there. #3 Also, I tried to activate a simple stop on my other VESC board, but it doesn't work either, and I know for sure that on 6.2 was working fine before upgrading to 6.5

Well I've seen it work on other vehicles and and bikes and stuff but I haven't been able to get the one that I bought to work yet I haven't gotten ahold of anybody to try to help me so it's not that easy just to do on your own mine still says update software and connect and I can't connect to update software firmware sorry

Awesome! My laptop open gl had issues so I had to set up my funwheel from scratch using my phone. But it actually worked perfectly. A bit more time spent jumping between screens and the Bluetooth tends to disconnect if I jump out of the app even for a moment (oppo phone are aggressive at saving power like that). But its worked a treat. I'm now a happy magwheel vesc user! Now my chinese OW clone is way more stable and ridable. Thanks so much for making this app.

I was able to program the vesc completely from phone! I had a few issues with the one step programming regarding the amperage needed for the motors so I ended up going to the motor config tab to do it the old way. I would love if a simple units change option could be added (Mph) Update: The imperial units were added very quickly upon request! Thank you! At first I thought it didn't work but I just had to restart the app for it to change over.

Can lock you out of your board without a warning. If you delete a pairing, the app will not unpair first, nor give you a warning, which results in you not being to connect to your board anymore. Which is just great when you only updated one motor config and are nowhere near a PC to plug the board in. At the very least, a warning would be welcome. The latest update has a much better UI.
