Memorization of speed limit change points for automatic use on future trips, speed limits and voice notifications. The speeds:
By default, the speed limits proposed are those commonly encountered in France (10 - 30 - 50 - 70 - 80 - 90 - 110 - 130). The maximum speed is the limit speed plus a radar tolerance. For example in France the tolerance is 5 km/h for speeds below 100 km/h and 5% for speeds above 100 km/h. The speed limits and maximum speeds can be modified according to the country where you are driving.
The colors of the speed buttons:
GREEN: below the selected speed
ORANGE: speed greater than the selected limit speed and less than or equal to the maximum speed.
RED: speed greater than the maximum speed. Flashing when exceeding.
Sound notification:
Audible alarm emitted when maximum speed is exceeded.
Basically, the alarm sound is the “default” sound for your phone.
Can be modified to distinguish it from the sound of receiving a message.
If the phone is on standby, audible alarms of exceeding selected speed will remain active as well as the voice reminder of the speed limit when it is changed automatically.
VIT80 includes an advertising banner. The display of this has been designed so as not to interfere with you while driving. The advertising banner is not visible at a speed above 15 km/h, after a few seconds.

I assumed the app would automatically warn me if I exceeded a speed limit and I was disappointed when I realised I would have to enter the appropriate speed manually each time I entered a new speed limit, even though it's just a matter of tapping the appropriate number on the screen. The interface is excellent, though, and this app would be a winner if it automatically detected speed limits.

Great App! Love the user interface. Love the large buttons. Has all the features I want. Allows you to select your own alarm-sound. Can set "over speed" limits to your own preferences. --- Note: In an earlier version of this review I mentioned a bug. It has been fixed. So add GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT to the list!

This is best speedo app I've tried. Very good. All I want is a very basic, accurate speed alarm, that I can manually control. Does the job perfectly. I use my sat nav when I want directions, maps, and speed alarm readings from maps, but most of the time, I don't want to put it on, just for a basic speed alarm. That's where this app works well, just put my phone on the dash. And it doesn't hog memory like some of the apps that have cam sign recognition or satnav type map reading of limits.

Excellent, saves my speeds & shows them on map to edit them. Can set the alarm noise, how many times to repeat & how long to pause between each repeat. Works fine! in split screen and floating window (maybe no bSamsung ui things only though?) One request though: would love to have a + and - button to jump the speed limit up or down 10kms (or user defined⁰ num?) much quicker to press +- than looking for a particular number on a bunch of buttons.

Better than it first seems. As a van driver I am able to use this on an older Samsung smartphone. Once I understood how to change settings it has become very useful. The downside is that it doesn't have an option for auto detecting speed limits. I therefore use a phone holder close to my hand so I can interchange between speed limits. All in all a very good app but it lacks auto detecting speed limits

Speed does not automatically switch, also due to delay all these speed apps (and I really mean all of them) are behind 3-5 seconds and before you know it you are 3 km over the speed limit. So set app to 3 km below the speed and to warn you to 1km below speed limit to have accurate reading in sync with your car.For example 40km set up 37 and 39.if want accurate warning for 40km on your cars odometer.

A very simple yet an excellent app to monitor your speed and set a custom speed alert to notify you if you exceed it, saved me a lot of money, i don't usually give out reviews but the developers of this app really deserve credit and appreciation, a recent update had a bug and the app kept crashing i emailed them (thinking who is even gonna respond let alone fix it) And got a reply within 20-30 minutes and within 4-5 hours they fixed it rolled out a new update, good work guys. Really Appreciated
