Great app so far. I joined back when we still needed invites to use it and it has come a long way since ! I can tell there are a lot less bugs and that the app runs better since I downloaded it. I also really like the many ways you can filter your feeds, ESPECIALLY the blocklist feature. Being able to create and share your lists so that other users can block hundreds of troll accounts by clicking one button is a relief. I really hope to see Bluesky thrive and keep improving in the future ^^

Bluesky uses too much data. I like the concept of BlueSky, but it uses a lot of data with no data saver option. For those with limited internet, this can be frustrating. A feature to turn off media previews, like the one on X, would be very helpful. Implementing a data saver option would improve user experience, making it more accessible for everyone. Please consider adding these features to make the app lighter and more affordable for users with limited data.

It's great. It's missing a handful of features, like voice posts, private accounts, proper bookmarked posts and the sort, but it has plenty of fantastic features nothing else has, like community-made algorithms, blocklists, and labellers, removing your post from someone's quote repost, and that sort of thing. Plus, their default "following" algorithm doesn't hide anybody's posts, you just get all the posts from people you follow, chronologically.

I just downloaded Bluesky, and so far I really enjoy it! There's no bots on random posts and it's pretty easy to navigate. This doesn't change the review but it does peeve me how the usernames look extremely long with the ".bsky.social" at the end of all of them. It's not that big of a deal and I know you can change the domain but I think it would be better if the domain name wasn't directly in the username but instead listed on a users profile underneath their name when you click on a profile.

Honestly, it is a great change from the other app. No awful algorithm pushing content from awful people, and lot less awful people on there in general. It still needs features like notification settings for certain accounts and longer limits for videos, but nothing wrong with some room for improvement. And it isn't run by a complete buffoon techno-villain, which is a huge plus. Great platform so far.

Definitely a work in progress, but it feels super cozy on the app. A few more features like images in DMs, and privating accounts would make it even better. Though my most wanted feature right now is to turn off the ability to see reposts of certain users! On their profile just make it so you can click "Turn off reposts from (user)" and it'd be amazing.

The app is a good alternative to the another one but I cannot give it a positive opinion, at least not yet. First, the "content algorithm" is broken. My home page is TOTALLY filled with politics after I clicked at (not even liked) one political post. Worth mentioning I had been liking my type of posts, for an hour or so. Except for that, the app is extremely buggy - images don't load, everything often freezes randomly and likes cancel themselves. Not even mentioning lacking privacy options etc.

In its current state, Bluesky isn't perfect. Image compression is pretty bad, there's no gif support, notifications need more settings, no images in DMs, and no private accounts. However, everything else is such a breath of fresh air. The community and content algorithms are better, posts can be curated much easier, and the people are just nicer. If you wanna ditch the decaying husk of twitter, there's no better time than now. It's only gonna get better.
