-- Beautiful sound walks, smart technology, unique experience --Explore our collection of audio walks, created by authors and artists around the world and powered by Echoes.
Enjoy an experience that evolves as you travel around. Our content is triggered by GPS or iBeacons when you physically walk inside the geofenced area of individual sounds - so you can keep your device in your pocket and concentrate on the experience around you.
Our iOS and Android smartphone apps allow you to explore what’s nearby and listen to incredible tours from our community. Check back often to see new content being added! You can easily download individual tours and save them offline for patchy connectivity. Then just make sure you have GPS enabled, plug in your headphones and start walking.
Download for free and get exploring! Best experienced with a good pair of headphones.

This app does something unique: Play music based on your location, something I have always wanted. However, it is somewhat finicky and only allows you to stream music which eats up your data. I wish there was a bit more invested into this app, because it has great potential.

Really cool idea, I loved the podcast. The location is powerful but a bit too strict. Once you've started an audio based on your location, as soon as you exit the zone (say you crossed a street), the audio stops suddenly and you have to come back to continue (sometimes start over). It would be better to let the audio finish when you already started it. Also, having an idea of how long the audio is would be nice. Overall, I recommend it!

App is very buggy! Just to name a couple of bugs: home link in the menu exits the app. Near me shows London (not Brisbane). Can't sign up using Google account. Phone's back button doesn't work. Search works once, if you want to search elsewhere you have to exit the app and start again... Looking forward to this app being useable. Samsung S9+. Android Oreo. Latest app version.

No. First whenever I choose search, or tap in the search box, the keyboard flashes up then vanishes. So no search. So I hit back, back. Nothing happens. OK, it's one of *those* apps. And hey! London is not "near" me, it's 500 miles away. Nice idea, poor implementation. (note: I already allowed all permissions, including GPS)

This is an excellent app which enriches the walking and listening experience. Its easy to use and to create your own soundwalks. And despite what some users say, I've usually found it possible to listen to sounds outside the location by pausing the stream or disabling automatic play and then playing individual tracks.

The only app of its type -- especially amazing that does what it does (allows you to make and hear GPS-aware geolocative audio experiences) and doesn't cost anything! Developed by a small team that is always responsive to bug reports. Great work, Josh, can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Has potential, audio linked to GPS is a cool concept, and walking tours with local commentary sounds more immersive. Currently I'm unable to create walks, and unable to listen to them if not in the area. Would be nice to get a 'remote' experience of listening to places from abroad.

I'm at the frieze exhibition in regents par. Spent 15 minutes faffing about to install app and download the 3d audio file. Then the app crashed and Android is reporting a bug. What a poor execution. Feel sorry for the hans rosentrom who has spent time and effort to put this together and in the end not a single person gets to hear it.
