Adds a configurable Energy Bar at the top of your screen indicating current Battery level. And just when you think, such a simple battery bar can display such a crucial information, try plugging in your charger - you'll be amazed by the details of the animation you'll see. The pulsating animation and the bar together not only indicates the current Battery level but also how much has the Battery charged since you plugged in your charger.

Got a full charge? The line will cover the whole width of your screen.
Battery depleting? So will the length of Energy Bar.

The latest update of the App let's Energy Bar feel all privileged as it's now more integrated with the device in the form of an Accessibility Service. To you as an user it means, Energy Bar will be very reliable and fits well with the System. And to complement the integration, a nice UI which let's you perform all sort of configuration on the Bar while it's live on your screen.

Out of the box features:-

✓ Energy Bar can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to cover the entire status bar (pro)
✓ Energy Bar puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
✓ Energy Bar's origin can be configured as left/center/right
✓ Energy Bar can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
✓ Energy Bar can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
✓ Energy Bar could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient (pro)
✓ You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
✓ Energy Bar as a cool pulsating animation whenever a power source is plugged into your device

All that is cool! But what about Energy Bar consuming Battery?!

This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Bar more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? ;) .) Energy Bar sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Bar. Once awake, Energy Bar quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Bar goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Bar to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

No charging animation? Solution for Samsung devices
Settings > Accessibility > Visibility enhancements > Remove Animations > uncheck if it's checked.

Screen burn-in:
The original variant of the App, Energy Bar has been used over several years by users on their AMOLED devices, there has been no complains. But there is no claim that it may not happen.

Paid for the pro app, but since I got my newest phone, I'm being prompted to pay for it again to change segment settings to use it on new phone.

The app is great and I've been using it for years, but after the update you now have to purchase the pro version to be able to use the other bar types, such as segmented which I use. Furthermore, you can't change the colors of the dynamic bars like you could in the older version. Very disappointed in these changes.

I like the app, when it's working - it keeps disappearing and I frequently have to go into the app and accessibility settings to turn it back on. Update July 2024 - has to be switched off and on again at Accessibility settings almost every time I turn the screen on. Giving up now. It doesn't make phone use easier if it creates a new problem. Such a shame!

With the last update all functions that were available are behind paywall. And payments are moneygrab. Reinstalled older version from apks.

I love the idea, but it doesn't seem to work correctly. First of all, the way to set up the percentages is difficult. As I slide to change it jumps back to the previous number. Then the animation and transparency options don't seem to do anything. The display options (gradient, etc.) also don't work. For color settings, at some point I went from the color picker to the color configuration settings (don't know how I got there and tried to get back, but couldn't), but it didn't save any of my color choices. Very disappointed and would love to see how to fix everything and give it 5 stars. Two stars for the concept and for the fact that at least a bar shows up.

This app should be part of the Android operating system! It is ultra reliable, has *no* impact on battery life, and looks great. I have the paid version, and have a 5 color gradient 5 pixels high on my S8 - almost invisible unless you know it's there. A quick glance lets me see my battery level without broadcasting it. The charging animations are fascinating to watch as your phone charges. Well done, sir!

This is my favorite app of all the apps on my Phone. I have used it for years and have enjoyed watching it evolve into the dope app it is now. The only bug I have found is the transparency background button doesn't work on my phone(Samsung Note 9), but it will probably work on yours. Edit: I strongly believe that the thickness meter needs to replace that 'k' with a 'c'. That's a Thiccness Meter, bro.

Surprised and Impressed. Im not a fan of what I call "Glamour Apps" that use up a ton of your phone's processor and/or memory only to beautify a small portion of your screen for a brief "wow" all while draining your battery ten times faster. However I am genuinely impressed at the vibrancy and customization options of the colors, as well as the small impact on the CPU, PLUS being a beautiful way to efficiently portray your battery's status. Bravo, sincerely. I must thank you, devs. Perfection.
