Horrible, crooked company!!! Do not do auto draft. My bill is due on the 14th but they take it out on the 4th. After many complaints and many months to get them to take it off of auto draft the just changed my payment due date till the 4th. Service also sucks. We have the best plan they have and only use it on one TV. It buffers all the times and we run out of data in a couple of weeks requiring us to buy more data at outrages prices just to get through the month. Also never got gift card.

App UI leaves more than a lot to be desired. There's no set time either or rather, dedicated time of every month. I've personally charted a schedule for the Wifi from Hughesnet for when it supposedly "resets" to 200GB of priority data. Lo and behold, their dates never correlated on the same day and would only state days remaining until cycle resets. Dial up > Hughesnet Actually horrid..

I've only been with Hughesnet for a month and it has been extremely frustrating and the app doesn't tell you how much your upcoming bill is until the day it is due. My first bill after the install never showed in the app only a trenching fee. I reached out to the chat support to explain the bill and I was told the trenching fee amount was the preview of my bill. The day my bill was due I was charged almost double then what showed on the app. No one helped me with how much my bill actually was.

This is the worst. I've had excellent service before moving from California to Oregon. In rural area Hughes net is horrible. I read other complaints of same issues. If you watch Netflix or some such it eats up your availability data in no time. Customer service actually told me to unplug from main connection when not using to save available data from being devoured when not using. Am going to pay to disconnect as this is not acceptable. They should be ashamed. Very scammy. Unfortunately .0k. So

Had my service since August 2024 havnt had any service issues as far as internet speeds but first day of installation my modem shut down due to overheating we literally have a fan dedicated to the modem. Other issue is the app is worthless can't pay bill always says I have no bill due and never get a accurate usage report. Don't bother installing the app it is literally just for clout so they look smart lmfao!!!!!!

Good for satellite internet, and we use it for streaming music and YouTube to leave our DSL modem uncongested for everything that latency is crucial in. Satellite internet definitely isn't for gaming though. Even if you're hardwired it just takes data a little too long to travel from client to satellite to server and back through. Download 10-15mbps, upload 2-6, and latency 60+ in my area. Update; 24 month contract but the equipment degrades and breaks 11 months in

This service is terrible they send technician after technician and I have had this service 6 months and it only works when it wants to they charge more than spectrum google fiber or any I have had and the service is terrible. I know I'm in a rural part but come on if your service isn't good why charge outrageously or even put limits

I used the service for 8 months, I'm trying to cancel but they gonna charge me more then $300 dollars for (early cancelation fees, even when I didn't sing any contract and I bought my on equipment for almost $500 dollars that I'm gonna have to keep and throw away.
