WARNING: App has a known bug that will not allow some users to end rentals. The support team were eventually able to end my rental, but only after considerable difficulty. This is an issue known to ekar and affects users of 'older' devices, including Pixel 7As. The app either needs to be patched or made unavailable for these devices; it lacks essential functionality.

Bad service. App showed I am in approved spot when ending the trip but later I started getting fines for parking in an unapproved spot. Called customer service and they said they cannot help and I will keep getting fines until another user comes and takes the car and theoratically speaking I could keep getting fined for an infinite time if no one else booked and took it from the parking spot or either I didn't go and book the car again to move it to another spot.

The new interface is not intuitive Multiple tims, now it booked pay per minute, and i was sure i booked per day. Also, when finishing the ride, it doesn't allert me if there is a penalty or extra charge for fuel level. Customer support is also not helpful in case i want to change an issue with the ride details.

In addition to my earlier review, it is also awkward that in this era one must have internet to be able to start and end trip. we are mostly on home or office WiFi and thus having to subscribe an internet plan just for the purpose on uploading photos to end the trip is minus for ekar. there's got to be some other way to start and end trip from the comfort of my bedroom.

I can't register my phone number. When I try one of my phone numbers - I never get the SMS to confirm. With another phone number it won't let me submit it because it thinks it's not the whole number, but Latvian phone numbers are that way - 8 numbers after the area code... So, so far no way to use this. But no problem registering and getting sms with Udrive, so I guess I'll have to use them.

Waste of money and it's the worst car rental experience ever. I rented a car for 1 month, the car broke twice !! The 1st time, I couldn't move around for a full day as I was waiting for someone from their side to come and fix the car. They fixed the car after the 3rd visit and more than 12 hrs of waiting. For the 2nd time the car broke, I had to use uber. I decided to cancel my rent few days earlier because it's useless to keep their car.

Terrible car rental option! They don't look after their cars at all! They are dirty, stink and my latest experience was a car with dead battery which apparently company knew about, yet still advertised for rental! I've lost so much money as I could not show up at my meeting because of this issue

Scam, horrible customer service ! Due to technical issues from their sides, I wasn't able to take over the car. However, they still charged me, and they continued until I complained to the customer service but didn't want to refund anything ! Avoid them !!!
