works for the most part. I don't understand why the app crashes a lot though, especially on my tablet. I will play a video and it restarts the app. I load a story and when the whole story loads, sometimes it crashes. I noticed with Apple devices, I can't skip ads. with Andriod I can skip most of the Ads after a few seconds. Why is it different between the two major device leaders?

This is an update I've been using this app for near a year now the only thing that really irritates me to an extreme is when you go to full screen mode you cannot get the bar on the bottom of the screen to go away no matter what you do. I tried typing on the screen I've tried everything. Other than that the only thing irritating is the ads even if you're watching the video and you accidentally click back you got to restart over watching it mandatory 15-second ad . I know it isn't up to the devs

After system update on Samsung Galaxy, app doesn't open and keeps crashing. Not able to see any local news or weather now. Not accurate for my location and now says it cannot find my location, which is odd because every other app can. Last year (2019), this app was reliable for weather and so far this year, it's the most unreliable weather app.

I generally like the app, though some of the "Breaking News" notifications are questionable. I recently turned on the storm and lightning alerts, which are nice, but I don't see why you need purchase location information for weather purposes. Approximate (about 3 square km) should be good enough for weather. When I turned off precise location, the app turned off the notifications, which isn't acceptable.

Worked great right up until the last update. Now, it just shows the CH3 logo then says "something unexpected happened" and closes - even after a clean install too. so, I had to install an earlier version, only NOW it won't show a live broadcast - just an earlier broadcast that is 8 to 12 hours old... Add in the annoying update window that I have to deny at each program start up. So, I've amended my star rating from 4 to 2 only because there is no 1.5 choice.

The app works pretty well. Radar isn't always accurate for our area. We're going up in elevation and pretty rural so it's to be expected. Updates on current conditions are frequent, you just need to check hourly. News feed is great. Alerts are quick to come in on both news and weather. Overall does what I need and expect.

I thought I would give this app a second chance. My mistake! Clearly KCRA app developers have NO IDEA what constitutes "breaking news", and just sends a steady, day-long stream of ping ping ping "Breaking news! A squirrel just ran up a tree!" I blocked all notifications. Now if I could figure out how to get ENGLISH commercials instead of SPANISH. Or maybe I'll just delete the app again.

This app is frustrating because I can't keep it running. I don't think it's a problem on my end because I stream other apps without any problems. This one is constantly buffering or freezing up. Sometimes it comes back but most of the time you get an error message. I usually get frustrated and end up listening to music or some other service. I hope this gets fixed because I do like their news.
