SIGMA LINK enables you to download your trip data and transfer settings to your bike computer with your mobile phone. With the models BC 14.16, BC 16.16, and BC 23.16 this works by using the NFC antenna. NFC is an international standard for wireless communication between devices on very short distances. Just put your compatible smartphone close to your BC to transfer the data.
The ROX GPS 11.0 connects to the App via Bluetooth Smart. With the connection of ROX and SIGMA LINK you can:
- have a look at your tracks
- share your activities in Strava, TrainingPeaks, 2 Peak
- see incoming calls on your smartphone screen during the training (smart notifications)
- download tracks from GPSIES and transfer it to ROX GPS 11.0
The direct communication with NFC and Bluetooth only applies to the bike computer models named above. However, you can transfer data of older SIGMA computers from your DATA CENTER to SIGMA LINK by using the SIGMA CLOUD.

Works fine with my BC 16.16 over NFC. However, it only ever transfers the current ride. I usually have NFC turned off in the BC 16.16 in order to conserve battery, so it always takes forever to turn it on. Ideally, it would load my entire back log which is saved on the device itself. But I'd have to at least be able to download data from the past week in order for this app to make any sense for me.

this app making me nuts..I bought sigma rex 11.. and always have problem syncing data with phone. after ride, when I try sync data, device is connected, and in app when I press download activity, app either hangs or shows screen downloading and freezes. and on sigma, screen changes connected to searching. well 1 out of 100 tries, I'm able to sync data. you should fix your app, you guys are hurting your excellent device..

I like the app and ability to download from my Rox 11 GPS and have it auto upload to Strava but the latest release seems to have many bugs and issues. 1. Blanks (doesn't close) any other app I may have open when open at same time. Very frustrating. 2. Keeps kicking me out while trying to rename an activity after I've downloaded it. 3. Numbers in statistics pane what I thought were totals turned out to be the range for that graph selection. Not intuitive at all.

The app is no longer reading information from my bike computer correctly and is therefore practically useless. The NFC connection is established but all rides end up empty (0 km). Weirdly enough, bike computer settings are read and stored properly. I have written an email to the developers last week but haven't heard back yet. My overall impression is that the app could use a different presentation and improved functionality ( e.g. read out altitude profile from BC 14.16 STS)

have the ID tri watch and love it. app itself is OK but sometimes takes time to sync to watch. I cant get into the sigma cloud or get anything to work in data centre. No stroke used shown in link app . The sleep is way off. picks up when lying in bed watching TV b4 sleep. no way to report or even change it. Option to change reports would be better. Link app could look better and be customisable. Zeroner app for Eg. But love the watch. Please update the app. Help Video doesn't work in link app.

From some point of time it stopped work with RC MOVE. Cannot connect the device. It just isn't seen on the mobile phone. Also, the application itself is too slow, i mean the interface. In general, it looks heavy and all animations (even simple scrolling) shows as they are in 15-20 fps, like in slow browsers (despite the powerful phone and tablet). I like the device, also have bike computer (BC 23.16) but the software seems to be is not developing. P.s. I've been using sigma device for the last 13 years.

I own BC 16.16 STS. I downloaded the app and tried to connect first time to my smartphone HTC U11 via NFC. It was pain in the "lower-back area". However, I was able to find a solutions for two problems I so far encountered. Not functioning NFC and wrong imported date/time in trip data. About the NFC, I found out that the best position to hold my smarthphone is about 2 cm over Sigma device in a similar way as shown in the image in app. However, you must find more or less exact spot on your smartphone where probably the NFC device is and hold it relatively still in this position until it finishes the data download. If you manage to get a hang of the position, app will connect really fast. The other thing is the wrong imported date of transferred trip data, which was 18.10.2018. But I did the trip today (26.04.2019). The good thing is, you can edit the date/time by going to Activities, then select the one you want to edit and then click on the "i" icon in the bottom. All the stuff except ones with gray text is editable. I think, Sigma device makes a time-stamp into chip when you reset trip data, which was in Oct, when I was last time on bike. So reset it right before your trip.

The app works fine to import new rides and see all the rides you have done. It would be great if the tracks section could become more ellaborated, to make it also possible to import gpx files directly from your smartphone and create tracks in the app itself. Also, the graphs are not as accurate as on the pc, it would be nice if you could zoom in on the graphs, so you can evaluate the ride also on your smartphone.
