Overall good, but annoying popups (even after purchasing 'ad-free'). Almost every time I open the app I have to swipe away an add for what I can only assume is another one of their apps. This would be fine if I was using the free version, but after paying this is no longer cool.

Does what it says quite well. That said, 4 stars because it does need improvement: 1. Dark mode. Almost everything on my phone is dark mode, so this app's full white screen is painful. 2. Include de/het with nouns. I'm learning Dutch and the bulk of what I look up is if a noun is a de-word or het-word.

Moved back to the Netherlands after more than 30 years abroad. Logically I've forgotten some words or the way they are used in a sentence, and that's where this app comes in handy. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars ,is that (understandably) it's got to be impossible to get it a 100% right ALL the time. Thumbs up!

Don't use this if you are new to the language. The translation are inaccurate. Not a language problem but i believe it is the programming problem. For example: "Kamer", one of the translation that came up was "camera"

Very useful, simple, quick and easy. Works fantastically. However and as a suggestion, it would be more complete if the word in Dutch came with the article (de/het).

Translation of "frieten" should without 'French'. It not from France! It's Belgian. Internationally one should change the habit saying "French fries" and instead say "Belgian fries".!!!!!! ALL YOUR DICTIONARIES ARE BADLY OR WRONGLY TRANSLATED, TOTALLY DIFFERENT !!! 1* because some words in sentences are wrongly translated. For example: a monk is not een aap (monkey) but a monastery / abbey (klooster / abdij) monnik!! And this is just 1 example!!!!!!

Amazing app! I have used all of the dutch dictionaries in the Play Store. This one has proven to be very possibly the most useful of them all.

Something about the app seems incomplete. And the sentence examples tend to be really weird. They need to be more like the English - Spanish dictionary app
