I read the reviews before I downloaded the app, I wasn't impressed, but went ahead. The same copy and pasted answers was given as a reply, that it was another company that was over charging. I hired 2 scooters, for about 4 hours long, with a 45 minute break and was charged nearly £80. For the same duration in England, it would cost about £12. The scooters themselves are ok and safe to ride. I can't contact Hopp, so have no way of checking if I was over charged or this is their standard rate!

There is no possibility to refund the failed ride. The app is glitchy, sometimes unlocking the scooter far away when you press book. Sometimes, it unlockes two scooters simultaneously if you book one but mistakenly scan the other.

All stations in the same corner of the non grayed area. The marked area is no good indication. Also struggled to comply with the miniature parking area. Ended up as far as i started but poorer. Make sure to invest my 5 euros in the best way since that's all you'll get from me ever.

first time I've ever reviewed an app, because the service is awesome and they went above and beyond to fix an issue I had, even calling my international cell phone. made our trip to Reykjavik even more memorable!

I've tried 6 times to hire a Scooter from this app. 6 times on five different scooters that charged me 5€ a time. but each time the scooter has been disconnected, so that 30€ I've paid out. then today I got a notification that I'd had a refund for 15€ from the first time I'd tried to use scooters but that's not showing in my account?

Loaded it up, could not see the map properly, very difficult to read map 1 when on scooter and 2 even when stopped and looking for a parking spot, of which there are very few

It works, I guess. It’s way too expensive to actually use. (I was able to get a taxi for less for a 10-minute ride with the scooter.) It randomly slows down a bunch of times, and there’s just a lack of parking stations in useful spots. Overall, it can be fun to use with friends, but it’s that much more expensive than calling a taxi.
