Just getting set up, but can someone explain why this has to be ten times more complex than setting up a bank account? Someone would have to steal all my devices to get past the bank's system of verification codes. The old e-health was working great .... BTW, the serial number scanner seems to have a "best guess" algorithm - S23 phone - it captures very quickly - but it's wrong.

Works well when it works. However, always seems to have major issues just when you need it. Usually taking a day or two futsing around to fix it. Sometimes uninstalling and re-authorizing again which can take another few days. I think they should just abandon it instead of forcing such beta software for something so important. Update: reduced to 1 star. The day after posting this review, they de-authourized my account on this app. That's pretty petty.

Do not trust that you can access this app when you need it. Whenever I try to login it sits on the loading page indefinitely. Restarting the app does not work. I usually have to uninstall then reinstall the app to make it work, then go through the verification process once more which requires is not immediate. Best of luck to anyone who needs an essential service that you need your BC Services Card App to access. Budget a few days to complete whatever you need to with this app.

A good alternative to using a username and password when it works. However, it now always goes into a loading loop when logging into the app or signing into CRA. And I recently got an error trying to sign into CRA, which prevented access.

Litterally never opens up. I have to reinstall this thing every time. Most phones keep unused apps in deep sleep mode, and I'm fairly certain thats what keeps breaking this app. I'm not sure why the government has such trouble developing an app a high schooler couldv done

A very useful and fairly straightforward app. Sometimes it can be a bit clunky, and sometimes take one or two more steps than they should, but it is generally dependable.

Reauthorizing is such an inconvenience. It takes a few days and after a few months you have to do it again ll over. There should be a better way than this. This is already my fifth time trying to reauthorize and this time, it didn't read my health card. So I tried to ask the contact support, but I had the most unhelpful lady on the other end. Please! Just please make a better app or have nicer employees.

Update: Redoing verification turnaround/approval time is MUCH faster now. What once took days, now (for us), was within the hour. I have moved my stars back up a few for this reason. (But having to redo it is still ridiculous) A small nit is how many screens (6) you go through to get your app (hlth Gtwy) opened. For choosing app (2x), your name, login, agreeing to use info/continue, even to close app when logged in! Why not just the first time thru? (A "dont ask me again" checkbox?)
