I got the plus version to utilize the extra features, and just to support the devs because this is an absolutely incredible offline dictionary. I use this for my German studies, and it's a lifesaver, as it is very fast and easy to look up a word on the fly. My only wish is that there was an option to switch to American English instead of British English because the translations for idioms often use British variants. I still give it 5 stars, however :)

I use this app frequently and love it! I WANT to pay for this! I do usually lose my entire vocabulary list whenever I change phones. Not sure if the backup/synch functionality really works and I'm not sure if that's an app issue or an Android issue. Update: I got my vocab list back by going into List Management and then Load My Lists. Perfect!

I use this app since quite a while (for different languages). I like the vocabulary trainer in the plus version a lot but an option to add own words within the app is definitely missing. I know that this functionality is already there in the web-version but it would be so much more convenient to be able to add words within the app.

This app is absolutely awesome! It looks and feels incredibly sleek and polished, and is a joy to use... and contains all the info (ie grammar and pronunciation etc) in one place that thus far I've needed to use several different resources for on my PC. I love the premium vocab trainer feature too.. well worth the money imo.. u can set up as many lists as you want, eg one for nouns, one for verbs etc, and it will even test you on your der/die/das' (if you're learning German, as I am). Love it :)

I've been using the free version for about 8 years and finally bought the Plus version because it's such a great app. Even without the extra features compared to the free version, it's worth it considering how much I've learned from it. Between audio from natives, German inflections, and ease of search, I can't thank the developer and contributers enough for the work involved to ease the learning process.

I love this dictionary. Both the desktop and the mobile app versions. But I feel that, you should make it possible to search reflexive verbs.. For example if I'd search "sich vorbereiten auf".. The search would return no results.. Please make it also available the noun verb combinations such as " zur Verfügung stellen"... Would be highly appreciated. But nonetheless, its still a great lightweight app that does the job for me..

Highly recommended. Marvelous dictionary, very extensive word and phrase content, and quite accurate. The interface is easy to use. The only thing I wish it had would be verb conjugation (maybe not a reasonable expectation for a dictionary, just my wish.)

I have used the website since what feels like forever. The app works just as well and maybe better, and the best thing is looking up words and then adding them to your own list to study later. It's as simple as you'd wish, and certainly for German (which is what I use it for) the best dictionary available.
