The ParentVUE Mobile application helps parents stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into their child’s academic experience. ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones works with the Synergy™ student information system in much the same way as the ParentVUE web portal, allowing parents to access near real-time information on assignments and scores, attendance, and demographic information. ParentVUE offers parents a single sign-on to view all of their children’s information regardless of school.

NOTE: ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones is a free application for parents and guardians using the ParentVUE web portal.

How to find District URL:
 
The ParentVUE Mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal.  If you need help
please contact your School District’s Administration office for access URL and ParentVUE login information.
 

Requirements:

• Only school districts using the Synergy™ student information system version 6.5 and higher can support the ParentVUE for the Android phones application.
• Requires wireless or 3G Internet connection.
• The ParentVUE Mobile for the Android phones app uses same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. Please contact your School District’s Administration office to verify Synergy™ version and ParentVUE login information.

Horrible App! It always crashes and I haven't had access to the mail option since last school year. As a teacher myself, one of the things that parents can't see in the grade book is how the grades are weighted. It shows parents a raw score and then I get emails constantly about why their lettter grade doesn't match the points earned divided by the total points. I remind them weekly and they still email me. This is 2024. it should be an accurate account of their grades and how it is calculated.

Update 11/26/24: continues to be terrible I have not been able to get in the app to send emails to teachers for over 1 month. Just gives a blank page with student list when you try. Very frustrating when trying to communicate with teachers. The app is not intuitive or user friendly. Can be hard to find what you are looking for at times. Not easy to send emails to teachers. Constantly having issues and the app shuts down when trying to send emails or do much of anything in the app.

10/29: no change Add: now freezes my entire phone requiring a restart to get my phone to qork again!!!! Not ok!! 3/8/22: Completely unreliable app and absolutely frustrsting to use! It is rare that I can access email at all so communication to teachers is a miss. Login occasionally works and I hear from teachers that they too are experiencing downtime/interruptions. This app is important to keeping parents, students and schools connected and engaged. It needs work all the time.

I cannot get the notifications to work on this app. It doesn't show up as an app in my phone list at all despite being on my home screen. The settings icon doesn't actually work within the app. I have tried all of the listed options for getting notifications to work. Nothing does. Terrible app.

Terrible. Looks like it is from the earliest days of apps. * Slow and unintuitive, with bizarre behavior (if I'm looking at grade book for a class, and tap back or grade book, goes instead back to the student "overview" screen). * Crashes or gets "not logged in" errors constantly. * For some reason, rotating the phone causes reload of grades. * Loading the grade book view takes a long time, and my phone loads megabytes of data before it finally shows the grades. Hate it web is also💩

One of the worse school apps I've used. We have moved a few tines due to work and out of all the school apps I have had to use this one is by far the worst. The user interface is junk! They tell me to update stuff thru the app and you can't do anything readily. Thankfully we will be using this only one year! Can't wait to delete

Eight months after my initial review, I still use ParentVue every day and I still absolutely dread opening this app. My primary issue is that the app constantly times out when switching between pages when I've only spent a few seconds looking at (for example) Grade Book. I check my daughter's Science grade, swipe back, random JavaScript-looking error tells me I'm not signed in anymore. Close app, reopen. Cycle starts again. There are many other UI/UX problems here that I don't have space to list

Constantly has issues. Current one I'm dealing with is trying to digitally sign some agreements but when I click on the link to a PDF, I get a warning that I need to update my app when I have already verified there is no update available on the play store. Sometimes the app just doesn't load content. Parentvue must know someone in our district and are getting kickbacks because I would not recommend this app to anyone and it's a shame that it's a necessity to communicate with our school.
