Secret of the Hidden Room : The Collaborator is a game that you can focus on the story to solve the problems, you will be able to feel the emotions you have like when you read a novel throughout the game. As you become the main character of the game, you will follow the traces to solve various puzzles, and by watching the ending of the game, you will have a lingering feeling after.
The main character Dan is a businessman well known to be a collaborator of the Occupying Nation in the past, but was actually a warm hearted person who helped his friend's family in danger. The story starts in an old church basement where they find Dan's record of the past, and the suspenseful plot continues by traveling through different times and areas.

Manageable puzzles. Had some difficulty because of the phrasing of some hints, thankfully, there is a walkthrough. Puzzles are rather manageable and story is touching. Good game overall. Characters are well-written and graphics are nicely drawn. Would recommend this for puzzle-lovers. Good job, wished it was longer though, hope there would be a sequel where you get to play Dan in his interrogation days or Madeleine trying to survive. More endings would be nice too :)

Phenomenal!! Interesting plot and complex puzzles, love the storyline. Beautiful storytelling with pretty graphics, especially bearing in mind that this is a free game. The ad on the top left blocks a bit of the screen, but it wasn't a serious handicap at all. Would be nice to shift it, tho

puzzles are slightly more challenging than the usual ones you'll encounter. the story is heartbreaking, but unfortunately not new -- in every war and in every conflict, sacrifices both big and small are made. short-ish game but worth your time. :) thanks for the great experience PuzzleSpace!

I like that I can choose what hint to see but having to watch an ad again to view a hint I already watched the ad for doesn't seem right. One of the hints I saw wasn't even fully in the frame, so there was important text cut off from it. That hammer minigame is wonky as heck. One of the lines in chapter 5 is left in Korean. The one when you check the stuffed toy. Not a bad story but some of the puzzles don't seem too logical either.

Amazing graphics and story. Translation had a few errors, but nothing too bad. One line was completely untranslated, luckily it wasn't a very important one. The puzzles are fun and challenging, although some such as the waterway one were very unintuitive. Some hints are quite useless as well, they'll say something like "rotate the pieces to complete the puzzle" but won't tell you what the actual objective of the puzzle is. Constant banner ad in the corner made me remove a star.

Great game that follows a story. The puzzles require some thinking but not to the point where you want to pull out your hair, and the challeneges have variety. Apart from some minor grammatical errors, this is a really well-made game. (Also, I was so surprised that a game such as this didn't force you to make in-app purchases!)

very well done escape game. The puzzles are tricky but not impossible, the hints are helpful. The whole game is free, hints are given for watching short ads. The story line is beautiful but some of the translation is weird or misspelled, but you can still understand the story just fine. Very fun game with a lovely, sad story.

Cool story, decent puzzles. English translation is pretty bad, but at least good enough to follow what's happening. Unskippable ads between stages (so 6, total), but that's pretty much it. Didn't feel excessive or intrusive at all. Devs have to get payed somehow, right? All in all, very good.
