Welcome to Call For Fire, the mobile training simulation that teaches you how to Call For Fire and coordinate indirect artillery and mortar fire using Grid and Polar missions. This game will put you in an Observation Post and arm you with a radio enabling you to rain down hell on enemy armoured vehicles and personnel.
This is not your typical shoot em up arcade game. Call For Fire is a training simulation built by soldiers for soldiers. It closely simulates what it is really like to call in indirect fires onto a target.
The Call For Fire is based on the US JFIRE doctrine and will teach you how to coordinate artillery fire in a coalition environment. The game will enable you to learn the art of coordinating indirect fires.
By playing this game you will learn:
* Correct RATEL procedures for all stages of the Call For Fire
* How to adjust fires onto Line OT (Observer Target)
* How to correctly bracket a target
* How to send in a BDA (Battle Damage Assessment)
THIS GAME IS FOR YOU IF:
1. You are a coalition soldier and are interested in perfecting your skills at calling for fire.
2. You are a military instructor or commander looking for a tool to teach your soldiers how to Call For Fire.
3. You are a soldier in training and want to get a competitive edge on your call for fire skills.
4. You are just interested in learning how soldiers call for fire on the battlefield.

Enjoyed this CFF Sim. However, I would love more than 15 missions. By the time I completed 15 missions, I was good enough to want some more challenges. Perhaps CFF from the air using grid, or alternative munitions? Great sim. 1 bug, sometimes your polar doesnt move to next phase of issue warn if your direction isnt 4 digit starting with zero. Makes sense, but there is no validation, so the PTT button doesnt do anything. E.g. when entering a direction of 393 instead of 0393.

Good basic training app, which shows the mechanics of AACFF to a beginner. Could be made more challenging+realistic with these additions: 1. Having to calculate or estimate L+R adjustments yourself without the built-in calculator. (Could be an option) 2. Having to determine the GR and range from a map instead of getting it from a (GPS-connected) LRF. 3. Danger Close missions. 4. Close country/complex terrain missions, where observation isn't always clear. Please continue to expand and improve!

Bought this knowing there wasn't much content. But being that it's a simulation & not your traditional game I wanted to support the developer anyway. Problem is there's just not enough to do & it seems pretty much abandoned. I know it's not a traditional game but it's missing many features military personnel have requested. It just seems really incomplete & a "one and done" sort of deal that you can blow through in a couple of hours. Feels severely incomplete.

Good clean redleg fun, radio chatter is on point, the controls can be a bit fidgety, could just be me. It would be nice to be able to invert the left and right swipe. Graphics are pretty good, it would be nice if the rounds left impact craters. Otherwise this game is awesome, can't wait for more missions.

Good military grade training aid. OP practice. Unfortunately, on my new Galaxy 4 Flip4 (OS: Android 13), the games "ADJUSTMENT" screen cuts off the right display panel below the "ROUNDS" entry field. Only two white arcs to suggest that there are buttons. A shame. I played with it on my previous with no problem.

The only problem I have is the Radio operations when your trying to lay rounds on target when it comes to combat situations, no body talks that calmly when it comes to that, and when you put in the 10 digit grid it lands you 500 m off target when it's suppose to be 10 m off target I believe to make it seem better fix the Como guys speed so that your not wasting five minutes trying to log info, and do a 8 or 6 digit grid it will let's you adjust and actually make it feel real.

Brings me back to fort Sill. The two basic call for fire missions were fun to go over after years of being out the military. I would wish they would add more fire missions for instance coordinated illumination and being able to use the 15 corrections of call for fire would only make this game even better besides that I'm hoping you continue the improvements and make it even better than what it is now

Only 10 mission for a paid game. Not worth to buy. Poor swipe control (no option to disable the invert mode) & poor joystick control sesitivity. Lack of user guid to explain every millitary terms. Communication between observer and mailman takes too long. Please improve & add more missions. I had finished all missions in just few hours only.
