أظهر الشيخ الألباني في هذا الكتاب اجتهاده المطلق في علم الحديث حيث لا يعمل بالأحاديث التي يظهر له فيه ضعف مع استشهاده بالفقهاء الأوائل في التصحيح و التضعيف و استنباط الأحكام الفقهية و إن عمل بها بعض الفقهاء.
