Coptic Reader is a mobile application that contains the liturgical text, rites, psalmodies, hymns, melodies, services, and sacraments of the Coptic Orthodox Church. See below for a full list of included content. Coptic Reader is not simply a text reader but rather it dynamically creates each document/service according to the rites of the current day, or selected day/feast. Coptic Reader builds each document on the fly with all appropriate hymns, rites and instructions to take the guess work out of the order of a church service.Coptic Reader can generate documents in a combination of English, Arabic, and Coptic and supports both English and Arabic as the application interface language. Coptic Reader is fully customizable and allows you to show/hide different liturgical roles (i.e., Priest, Deacon, and Congregation), inaudible prayers, rubrics/comments, and languages.
You may choose between different graphical themes as well as change the document text size. A presentation mode is also supported that allows you to project the content in your church for a complete experience. The application also allows you to control which saint or archangel commemorations will be shown in doxologies, hymns, responses, and other prayers for your church's intercessors.

This app is an application intended for Coptic Orthodox Church that includes a great variety of liturgical material – prayers, hymns, readings in English, Arabic and Coptic. Comes with extras, such as the ability to create texts corresponding to the church calendar, change the appearance of the application and install it offline. The expert design has some room for improvement, even though it functions fine, as the aesthetics do not fall much short.

Very useful app. May God Bless everyone who works to provide us such very useful app. Only one point, since I bought a new phone, every time I open the app,i get the message that it isn't an authorized phone, although its the same name and email. Pls try to correct this message. Thx.

It's a great app for traditional orthodox Coptic church different events, liturgies, daily prayers, daily praises and more. Highly recommended. Next step to get 5 stars is to make it multilingual to include French, Spanish, Chinese and other languages worldwide. Edited from 4 to 3 stars on April 18, 2021: Can't contact the developer from within the App. Can't select text to share passages with others or copy/paste daily readings or Bible reference.

I can find all the prayer books for the Coptic church in both languages Arabic and English, I hope this will available in all languages someday. I invite people to use Agpeys "book of hours" to organize their daily prayers

All categories should be freely offered. No reason for making them available only to those who pay. Very out of scope and purpose! There is too much discrepancy and inconsistency in readings from Coptic Reader, Orsozoxi, what's read in different churches, and a variety of versions of the Katameros books in different churches, continents, and geographic locations. Unifying the text with zero variation should be worked on and established ASAP. This inconsistency should never be the case and should not be accepted or tolerated by all church authorities, including the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

Such an amazing production that has been a great aid & an easy go to resource to all congregation & clergy. You continue to fix & ammend issues accordingly & the developers have provided a valuable app to show how much the orthodox church has the ability to adapt yet not change. Thank you for your gallant efforts. Any hope to add features for Coptic to be read in English or Arabic alphabet. I think it would be a great tool for those who would like to participate in Coptic but can't read it.

Very professional put together of the church books to provide the daily prayers and readings according to the rite of the Coptic Othodox church of Alexandria. Over the years it is getting updated to observe any special scenarios like multiple occasions overlapping and identifying which takes precedence. In addition, typos and corrections are continuously implemented. Very impressive to the extent that you get concerned that over the years you may forget the original books of the church!

This is nitpicking, but maybe for the best presentation the app's icon could be updated and also the initial splash screen updated with higher resolution or clearer images! Like I said it's nitpicking, but update the app in all areas because this one is definitely one of the best and I've tested almost all the free Bible Apps!
