THIS APP WORKS REALLY, REALLY WELL! I LOVE IT! I've had it for years. It doesn't always play an ad, but when it does, it's only when you first turn the app on and not even every time. Also, it usually stays on for days. Btw... No, it's not just you! ;) Devices are purposely being made with ridiculously low max-volumes, so we have to get apps like this. But I picked Volume Up because it has extremely few permissions. :)

So...This is the 5th volume booster app I've tried. The first four did not boost volume at all. I think these apps work differently on different phones, OS's and they also work (or don't work) differently on different apps on those phones. That said this was my experience. I work in a very large and loud loading doc fulfillment center. I'm not allowed to wear earbuds but I wear a Bluetooth head band with speakers in them and they are not loud enough for my work environment. I like to listen to podcasts and music as well but mostly podcasts. So, the app did NOT increase volume on my current music player which is Shuttle. The app did NOT increase the volume on the Google Play Music app. However, the app DID increase the volume significantly for Stitcher. I have no idea why this is. I'm not a techie, but it did indeed work. At max boost it was slightly distorted and I did hear some of those crackly noises when sliding the boost bar but that's not a big deal to me. I haven't tried it at work yet. Hopefully the app will continue to work. I really need the distraction at work and don't want to break the rules regarding earbuds so I'm glad this worked on Stitcher which I can get by with. Maybe I can try a different music player and see if it is compatible with the app. Any comments Devs?

One of the few volume booster apps out there that works with little to no ads and it's also lightweight. A little buggy though; volume boosting doesn't apply or even stops depending on the media played unless you access the app from time to time. Would've been less of a hassle if the app's permanent notification bar work.

Works well, but when changing booster level up or down, you hear some noise like from bad radio signal. When you leave booster level in same position there is no noise. Also, way too many ads. And I dont know if the problem is from app or my earbuds, but for some songs boosting volume decreases audio quality.

finally I found an app that works with my phone I tried a lot of them if they don't do what they say they're going to do this one has no matter how many times I've used it on different types of phones it works man stays working and it's easy for anybody to use don't blow your ears out.

This app is always on. Because of it, I can now hear my phone!! For the folks with hearing problems, this is an answer to prayer. 8/30/19 I'm still so happy with this app. Please try it if you have any hearing problems. I continue to leave it on all the time. To the maker of this app, I can't thank and praise you enough!!

The volume stays up for a while but then goes down. It doesn't seem to be stable when it comes to any single volume. I could not get a five stars because of stability problems.

It works. There's a bit of white noise from the audio jack being turned up, but that can't be fixed. This app made my day. Without it, I would be mowing the lawn while listening to music I can barely hear over the mower. Thank you
