The acclaimed Trail Guide to the Body musculoskeletal anatomy resource is now available in an interactive app. This user-friendly tool is beneficial for students and practitioners in manual therapy, physical therapy, athletic training, pilates and other professions that require musculoskeletal anatomy knowledge.AnatomyMapp® offers a wide array of features to help you ace your next exam or educate your clients:
• All 364 cards from the Trail Guide to the Body flashcards. These include 144 muscles, 61 bone and bony landmarks, 50 joint and ligaments and 64 common movements, including the synergists and antagonists
• Pins that identify muscles, bones and bony landmarks
• Navigation directly from muscle groups to individual muscles
• Multiple options to test your musculoskeletal anatomy knowledge by: 1) answering multiple-choice questions (muscle cards only) 2) locating specific structures, and 3) identifying AOIN points. The quiz questions were developed from the Trail Guide to the Body workbook.
• Bookmark specific cards you can review later

Update: now it wont show the other side of the cards. I didn't think it was possible for this app to get worse, but it did. This app is awful. It crashes constantly and sometimes won't even open. I reached out for help but got the standard "turn your device off and then on again". But now, in the reviews, I see A LOT of people are having problems with it. So maybe just found a less problematic app and save your money.

Can't see the info side of the muscles. Only able to see the image side. The pictures are great though. Edit: For those who can't see the muscle info side, go into settings and change size to small. Not sure what happened but the sizing so large that it disappears.

If your app is not showing the back side of the flash cards, press the gear icon in the bottom right corner and change the text size to fix it! This is my favorite anatomy app because of the quality of the drawings and accurate muscle actions.

This is a really education app, however the palpation app is separate from the trail guide. The palpation app is more useful by giving more practical information rather than just book knowledge. Unfortunately, it is not available on android, but when I had an I phone I loved it and would definitely buy it if it were to come out on this platform.

The app has been great for learning the O,I,A,Ns of muscles and landmarks. There was an update a few months ago that made it stop working with a "app isn't installed". Updated it today and started working again (May 8, 2023)

Great app, this almost singlehandedly helped me pass anatomy l. The app since late Dec has not displayed the origin and insertions. I contacted support change the font size in tools and it will display the cards.

I loved this app in the beginning, really handy when I need a quick review while I am studying/travelling. But the O,I,A do not work anymore and only showing the muscles only. I have spent money to use this app, now it just feels like a scam. ... Is this app ever going to get fixed???

was working great on my old phone. I had to get a new one and transferred the app over. now none of the individual muscles show o's and i's. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't help. wasted $30
