Manage the planning, configuration, installation and reporting of video security projects with one single app, the Bosch Project Assistant app.

Off-site and without connection to the camera, basic configurations can already be set and shared with colleagues before the camera is even installed.

On site, those pre-configurations can simply be pushed onto the installed camera, making the installation and configuration procedure easier and less time consuming. Previously configured cameras can be integrated and updated as well. The camera's field of view can be viewed and adjusted along with other image settings via the app itself. A comprehensive report of the commissioned cameras is automatically generated.

Using for a couple days now and the app seems stable and fairly intuitive. Importing from spreadsheets isn't documented anywhere but can be figured out. My biggest complaint is that the focus, adjustment, and reporting features can't be used with out setting a password. Some of my larger customers use cameras strictly internally and REQUIRE no service password be set. Nothing would make me happier than having ability to bypass password fields and use the adjustment and focus features. Clean up or document the import process (from a spreadsheet) and make passwords optional and I will Five Star this app and begin rolling it out with my teams. Oh yeah... Decoder support would be nice too. Thanks for a supplement to configuration manager.

this is ok, it would be better if it allowed for you to print sheets of labels to put on the camera's so that field technicians know what camera is what, so that they are placed in the correct location. you have to still manually set up your labels which is time consuming to do, when this has all the information already available once you get done the first time. having that option would make this the complete package. I would like to see the IP, MAC, name of camera, and cable number on labels.
