I have an Aegis Lock with Wi-Fi Gateway and Keypad. The system is robust and reliable, but it suffers a very frustrating problem: the app's Event Notifications stops working for days, then resume, only to stop again whenever it feels like it. All this happens in spite of the app's Event Notifications settings NOT being disturbed. OTOH, ALL events are correctly recorded. Playing with the settings doesn't fix it. This is a major flaw. It interferes with the ability to keep track of activities.

I love this lock. It adapts to almost any deadbolt, and you can still use your key in an emergency! I also got the number pad an eight-digit number is highly secure. You can even set it to automatically unlock when your phone's Bluetooth is in close range! it's been very dependable, and certainly convenient.

the quality of the vision it great. the sensitivity is terrible on 3 I'm getting motion and sound detected from wind and every 30 sec. You have to use an SD card or pay for the cloud basically. I have the capsule for indoors but I use it outside a window in the corner where it's hard to rain on. the night vision is amazing. my biggest issue is it keeps going offline and loading forever even when trying to use the setting in app. I have a 5g phone I should not be waiting 5 min to 30 to work.

Intermittently buggy but can't say if it's the software or hardware. Intermittent not locking / unlocking issues. Connection to the hardware isn't always made. Battery keeps showing dead and I was receiving 100 emails a day telling me they were dead even though I changed them. Tech support was useless. Removed the lock and moved on to another company. 2 stars because I'll give the benefit of the doubt that the hardware was the bigger issue here.

It works BUT the feature of auto unlock when you return home doesn't always work and when it does it takes 5 minutes with me often left standing at the door waiting since I don't have a key. I also have the key pad and it's of no use, no matter how many times I updated my fingerprint, it doesn't recognize it. I try using the pin code and hit unlock and nothing happens but a few beeps. I think this system has potential but their programming isn't there. I suggest looking into August or something.

Product does not work. Installed it. Started to set it up, bolt wouldn't shut all the way. Continuously got error messages. Tried to unlock with the app, bolt wouldn't open all the way. Continously got error messages. Tried recalibrating 3 times. None of them worked. Keypad also doesn't work. Wasted 3 hours just to put the old lock back on.

Ok ....well after a month of messing around ..with one minute it work the next time it doesn't. I wanted to update my post. the latest firmware update, plus software reinstall made a big change. tested it multiple times from local access to traveling access...working every single time....wow..now I can start using the other features. I have received comments from everyone about how clear my voice is when using the talking feature.
Digitalz Decay
Not really worth it, constantly getting notifications for 13 second clips of nothing doesn't record what actually needs recording, kills phone battery, so far not worth it. Update: can no longer add device to phone or connect to the internet after recent update. Contacted customer service ... NO HELP! Apparently everything negative I've said is because I got a defective X1, but can't get a replacement because I don't have my receipt.
