This app could use some general UI updates, as nothing major has changed in several years. You can adjust various schedules, but you still can't fine-tune different sensors. They basically have a few pre-set times that you can set which sensor it should use. I should be able to select the exact time, or set different thresholds for different sensors. I definitely like the app for what it is, but I'd like to see a bit more.

Great addition to the house! Helps you control the environment in the house. Very good! Update: I had to upgrade my router and now the app has old info on it. The telephone number to verify isn't in use anymore. I can't reset that in the app. Google says to, just go to settings in the app. I can't find settings anywhere?! I've uninstalled the app four times and it continues to retain the same info. Help? Update: 2024 December 1. This app seems to automatically turn on the Eco mode it's not off.

It is missing some features, in my opinion. There should be a 'boost' button. This would raise the temp to the requested level and then switch back to scheduled heating. Because this feature isn't there, when the temp is raised, it keeps it there, and the heating ends up being on through the night. I find the heating off when I want it on and on when I want it off far too much for what is supposed to be a smart thermostat. I wouldn't recommend it.

A massive improvement would be if when you open the app, below the home/away and set temperature toggles, if there was a button to give a "blast" of heating to come on for an amount of time set by the user. You could then take the chill off the house without having to adjust the heating settings. I have turned mine up before just wanting to give it 20 minutes and forgot to switch it back off ... this feature would benefit in the weeks leading up to winter, where you have intermittent temperatures

I would really like to be able to record and/or download, preferably automatically, the actual room temperatures as displayed by the device. In fact, the ability to record all the data displayed on it would be very helpful in managing the heating. No complaints about the app, other than that, although, for me, that seems very beneficial

It was good as a basic starting point for the hub of a smart home. Over time however, development stagnated and it never evolved. As a result, the app lacks a lot of the features that you think an app for a smart home should have. Those features that you know the data and systems should probably support but just never got built and deployed in updates over the years. The Google Home app is not much better at doing these functions either.

Overall been using the app for 18 months. It was pre installed in our new house. One stat failed inside 4 months. Focusing on the app, it's ok but missing some key features you find on traditional and other smart thermostats eg temporary heating boost, or the ability to skip or advance a schedule one time or ad hoc. It's a bit too binary and limited. I'd avoid if given the choice.

Very basic with no functionality. For example...There is no "boost" function to allow a quick use of heating. The, heating history is limited and poorly displayed. It is also only polled once a day so you cant even check how long the heating has been on that day!. Given the data being captured you should be able to filter / manipulate the information and check/compare heating totals for week , months and years! The app is basically and on/off button and basic scheduler. Very disappointing
