Buff looks good, but the $13/month or $99/yr price is a total fantasy. I have real video games, productivity apps, etc. that have brought me thousands of hours of enjoyment that do not cost that much. $20 for the year max. It is a phone app. Plus, we are in the AI age where a single person can produce an app QUICKLY. There is just no justifying that price.

Using the free version and it is awesome because I was following their workout plans already and every exercise they have is here (as far as I know), which doesn't happen with other apps. The only problem I have is that if for some reason I close the app by mistake mid workout, it doesn't let me save/update, it shows error. To not lose my progress I take a screenshot of the weights and reps, cancel the workout and then log in the workout again, then update it.

Unfortunately, this app is not for me. Maybe that will change later on. Right now It's a subscription model to use the majority of stuff you would want, like tracking and stats. The pricing is steep. $100 for the year but for those that can't afford $100 up front will be charged 56% more to use monthly. The library of exercises is great but you can get so much of that simply by watching the Buff Dudes channel. Plans I like I've already bought from them but now I'm required to subscribe to us

I have been watching the B.U.F.F Dudes for years. When I found out about their brand-new fitness app, I could not wait to try it. I like the concept of leveling your fitness, and unlocking dozens of medals to award for your achievements. Like playing a videogame! Overall, I had a great experience using this app. Mostly, there are a lot of positives to the fitness app. You could create your own fitness routine that's a huge plus. It even has 7-day free trial. BUFF Dudes Approved! 💪😎

Dudes! I'm a big fan and have been watching you guys for almost 10 years now! The app looks great! Super proud of how far you guys have come! I have some feedback. During a program, when I tap on an exercise to see tutorial & alternative, it'd be nice to have a "Swap exercise" to an alternative. That will be beneficial to when you don't have access to a particular exercise. And I'd love a "Pause Workout" button for the timer. And he app doesn't work when logged in on 2 devices, Pixel 9 & iPad

Excited to try this for custom workouts and see how it compares to others. Agree that a workout routine "share" (or just export / import) feature would be awesome. Unfortunately the "Exercise" search doesn't work on my phone (no results unless I filter first, but then you can't filter and search at same time) and there are a few other minor bugs. I tried to message support through the app (didn't see a 'leave feedback' button), but clicking submit appeared to do nothing.

Best workout app. I love the gamification of working out. It has me as excited as playing a video game each day; except the workout gives me better endorphins. My favorite part of the app is the weekly and individual summary of muscles I targeted. I don't mind paying the subscription since I see it as paying for a virtual fitness instructor/personal trainer. Some minor bugs are expected in a new app. The bugs don't affect the main functionality.

Have watched the dudes for years. Great guys. This app feels like an extension of them. I like the RPG elements that were included, and can't wait to watch my stats and medal pile grow. Overall, it has a very clean feel. I will sub to support and see this thing grow. For now, 4 stars because I feel like it lacks variety and has some bug isses for the price point. I know there is more to come though, and I will update my review once this thing reaches the potential I know it has. Give it a shot!
