What's New
We’ve made some navigational changes on the app to give more prominence to your events and school information:
‘What’s On’ joins your groups, announcements and listings in a top tab. It’s now known simply as ‘Calendar’.
‘My school’ gets its own spot on the bottom menu. We hope these changes make your content much more findable.
In addition, we’ve made some interaction changes to the feed to make it quicker to see other users’ comments and to add your own.

The photos in slideshow mode load very slowly. Also the main photo has distorsioned sizes. I get notifications for comments even though I disabled those.

Overall, I really like the Classlist app but recently I have had some issues with the app that I can't seem to fix. Primarily I no longer seem to be able to add attachments to announcements. Very frustrating and I'm hoping you can provide a solution. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, I've checked all the permissions, cleared the cache etc.

Excellent app for communication that connects families in the best possible way.

Update: all good now! Using app on my phone, was given a message saying something like 'we've been doing some updates etc' and was prompted to click 'ok' to get latest version. Now all I get is a message 'oops something went wrong. Try again' but despite clicking to try again, I am stuck in a loop back to this message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app but just end up in this same loop. App was absolutely fine until about a week or so ago. My phone is a Samsung S4 mini. Any ideas? Thanks.

The app is dreadful. You can't make simple changes, so information provided is unhelpful at times. It emails and notifies you on each item posted, but if you follow the notifications it doesn't take you to the detail, but a generic landing page. This is the noisiest app I had and it added no value to me, so despite the school choosing to use it, I have uninstalled it. One final irritation that I am glad to leave behind are the adverts on every page trying to sell tutoring services.

This app is great. When I joined a new school, I could immediately communicate with any parent in a safe ring-fenced app without having to give out my contact details. I prefer it to WhatsApp as if somebody starts discussing something, my phone does not start pinging with every comment unless I request that. I can also see who wrote every comment even if they are not in my address book. It has a useful events facility so you can invite the whole class to a birthday party automatically.

Tedious, slow, unnecessarily long route to see your messages. I would never use this app but have been forced to by the school. Since switching to this app, our communication has got much worse, it's harder to get to know people, and I miss many important notices. The ads are intrusive and annoying.

Has stopped support for accessing class list on a mobile browser without installing the app. There is a workaround but it's annoying. This is really a review of class list itself rather than the app. I've run out of space on my phone so have deleted the pointless and often buggy app. I'm hoping our school will stop using class list as it's yet another place to check that duplicates some but not all functionality of myriad other apps/FB/ WhatsApp groups/etc.
