When I purchased a book, there was absolutely no mention of the fact that I would need a special app to read it - the book was only described as a PDF file. So, I assumed I was buying a PDF file. But now I realized that I can read it only in a special app. When I tried to contact the customer service, they just reiterated the fact that I needed an app, and when I tried to continue arguing, they said: "OK, we are closing the ticket now." Quite deceptive and rude. Amazing job, way to go!

Terrible. Can't scroll, zooming is awkward, annoying interface. Despite downloading the texts, they often do not load new pages (or only very slowly). If the thing is downloaded, then what the hell is the app doing?! I generally disapprove of piracy but in this case I had no other choice to conveniently access the texts my university pays for. There are other, better apps which allow DRM to be maintained but have better interfaces for users.

Just about fit for purpose but app presentation is subpar compared with it's rivals. E.g. one can't zoom in on pictures, one can't choose 'continuous flow' presentation when reading epub books (making read aloud really awkward to use), many, many bugs (e.g. one can't select and highlight text when on certain parts of a page. I won't use it if given the choice but the university subscribes to this platform so, all the points above are just inconveniences.

The new update is absolutely horrendous. I had so many files and documents that were easy to access and now not only can I not access them, but there is no option to download those books and docs back to my device. I spent so much time and energy finding those files and uploading them on kortext and it has all been wasted in one terrible update. If I could sue, I would. DONT INSTALL THIS APP.

literally one of the shittest apps. any app process like logging in or downloading stops once exiting the app. also no setting to make downloads work outside of app. just pirate the textbooks atp edit: the images in app appear small and you cannot enlarge them.. as well as the website bugs out when zooming in and out so you can't even conveniently skip to pages. also scrolling fast triggers 'anti piracy tools' on the website. piracy + a pdf is quite literally more accessible than this.

I am currently studying in Anglia Ruskin Uni which happened to subscribers to use this app and is not good. When you are reading and close the app for the next time you open you dont where you been becouse there is nothing to help you to do that also the zooming also one you highlight something you cant delete the colour you can just change but not delete, also the app bugg sometimes. Also if I open Vortex in my Vle I have to log out and entre again which sucks when you are in medial of the lecture

It loads the login page fine but it quickly switches to "failed to load content" screen before i can enter my email. Unusable.

Unable to login to app. Only the desktop version works. The Mobile app keeps going back to sign in screen once I put in my sign in details. Conteniouse loop of going back to login screen.
