PNFS covers Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.Submit an issue easily via a generated email with:
- The OS grid reference determined from your GPS location
- Your selected issue categories and a short description
- A photo from your gallery or camera
Use the Open Street Map page to locate and see photos of PNFS signs and bridges and to track your location along footpaths. Use the displayed grid reference of your location to find your position on paper OS maps.
Tick off and count the PNFS signposts that you've seen.
The app is supported by the Peak & Northern Footpaths Society (Registered Charity Number 212219). The app provides links to the charity's website if you want to make a donation or pay for membership.

Perfect app for the new craze that is the 'sign bagging'. Can you add the option to highlight bagged signs like on the Wainwrights and Ethels app? That'd be grand. I wonder if you could add a filter to see just the signs, just the bridges or toggle on and off the other features for easier to see bagging?
