Please note: Only CSX customers with valid login credentials for ShipCSX will have access to the features on the ShipCSX mobile application.The ShipCSX mobile application provides customers anywhere/anytime access to updates on the status of their rail shipments from an Android phone. Customers can retrieve up-to-date information about their shipments using Railcar Trace, Train Trace, and Equipment Specifications (UMLER), or send information to CSX using Shipping Instructions, View Inventory, and Plant Switch. XGate module added for streamlining intermodal driver check-in and check-out processing at terminals.
ShipCSX Mobile is designed with our supply-chain and logistics conscious business customers in mind. For security reasons, only authenticated CSX customers can access shipment information through the application.
The application collects location data within the XGate module as part of a safety feature to prevent usage while in motion. This data is not stored.

Major downside to the app is the fact it doesn't have the option to change parking location at the rail yards if assigned lot is full. Please add this option, as drivers assistance at the yards is rude/unprofessional when you need to report new location. Would take a lot of frustration off the driver if this feature is added.

It usually works fine but if you have trouble logging in with the Biometric option and you can't, you have to go to your phone's settings in apps and delete the app cache and data. Do this after you've deleted the app and installed it again so that everything is reset and you'll be able to log in again with your password. I recommend that you don't use it with the Biometric option so that you don't have a problem again.

Constantly having to go through tiresome login procedures. Rarely will scan barcode. Extreme hassle to use over previous version. No longer worth using, going back to paper. At least I can get in and out in a timely manner. CSX don't care about your time!

CSX doing the best they can. NEVER works. After scanning at the gate will never send a location of the container and good look trying to ask the people to "help the drivers" with their mad attitude all the time towards drivers.

The old Xgate app was so much better than this updated app. The main problem is after you ingate. You can't see the full box location. Especially at 59th street. You will get TTL3 9... there is no spot 9 only 90s. So you will have to start looking in the stacks or train for your box starting from spot 90 through 99. That's a lot of boxes to look through. Takes a lot of unnecessary time. If the app would show your box location like the old app did. This new updated app would be okay.

App won't let me log in randomly after working fine for months. Randomly forces you to change your password (even after you JUST changed it), but that only goes through a few days after you do it so you just can't get into the app sometimes for weeks at a time. There's no help and noone trying to fix it. The app is as useless as the company management. Thank you for your time, do not use csx if you can help it.

Terrible app. Fortunately, I am no longer required to use it. When I would go to the Memphis location, I would have everything filled out correctly, then get to the gate and their system would claim it couldn't find me. The people at the gate are always rude and when you email their customer service, you receive a rude response. Plus, my antivirus software would often try to delete the app. Obliviously, there was something wrong. It is an all around terrible experience.

Does the job, but not the most intuitive nor flexible. Can't change plans once you've started a "mission," nor can you cancel out of it. Password security rules are straight out of the 90's & there's no support for biometric (e.g. fingerprint) sign-ins. When in motion the screen gets dimmed, making reading to location you're trying to find difficult to read (in case you forget it). QR code sometimes disappears with no easy way to make it reappear.
