To all USPS Mobile® app customers, we recommend downloading the updated USPS Mobile® application. This USPS Mobile® application was created to be compatible with newer Android phones. We have also fixed bugs within the app. To receive updates to your USPS Mobile® app, please download the app here.

Access popular USPS.com® tools on the go with the “USPS Mobile®” app: calculate shipping prices (limitations apply), find a Post Office ™, look up a ZIP Code™, schedule a next-day pickup, request USPS to hold your mail, access Informed Delivery® to track packages and digitally preview incoming mail, and more.

• Check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services. Nickname your shipments and sign up for text and email alerts to notify you of the delivery status.

• Calculate a Domestic or International Price to determine how much postage you will need when you ship a letter, card, large envelope, or package (limitations apply). Choose retail or online pricing, add any extra services you need, and view the total, too.

• Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions.

• Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. or Canadian address.

• Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery.

• Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ for you to pick up or be delivered by your carrier when you return.

• Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your device’s camera. The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of delivery status.

• Link to Informed Delivery to track packages and digitally preview your household’s incoming mail arriving soon; view grayscale images of the exterior, address side of letter-sized mailpieces.

I've been an informed delivery customer for years and it's been extremely useful especially when you are expecting an important letter or package or when the mail is not delivering your mail. I've got nothing but respect for postal workers but sometimes things happen and having this option is a game changer. Also getting shipping supplies, free at that, is as simple as choosing your options and they'll drop it off at your door. Need stamps? They got you on that too! It's not an option anymore I.

Update : I had to take off two stars because there are no updates over the weekend and I find them to be necessary also I have to type in the tracking number and then select track it does not do it automatically therefore I only give this two Stars because of this all the other package shipping companies give over the weekend updates. Excellent app works great and offers all the help you need

It's an efficient way of checking your mail. You can skip the line at the post office for things like holding mail or changing your address. I can easily track packages and I love the informed delivery. I know when I'm getting mail and what's included; the app even offers pictures of some of the mail eliminating the guessing of what you'll be getting and when. Good app!

Last couple months, I would log in and always says this service is not available. I enjoyed receiving mail notifications from informed delivery but no access now. Need to take app if not gonna work. Mine also enlarges 2- 3 times larger. Uninstalling!! Very Frustrating, can't trust any app seems like. Not the customers fault this happens! App says this service not available on informed delivery. Can't access my account or check incoming mail. Why am I receiving text notifications but app not work

Was good prior to the last update...Now it reports most services unavailable and directs you to the web site. There is such a thing as QA testing, the USPS should try it some time. The 'app' fails more than it works. It redirects you to a series of websites, all requiring login, while failing...The ONLY good thing is the informed delivery email, though it often arrives later than the mail.

Pretty good app tracking is not always accurate and almost always delayed. As much as USPS continues to raise their rates they're tracking should be near impeccable like competitors or more precise at all times. There should also be a greater focus on delivering mail/packages to the appropriate addresses there shouldn't be as many errors. Also, when you scan a tracking number it does not automatically add it to your informed delivery list where I believe it should. In need of an updates ?

It works. But... I really don't think this has much beyond imbedded links, there isn't much standalone access with this platform. This is good for some people, but it really is just fluff as far as I can tell. There's a decoder included but that's nothing special. I can't seem to log into my actual account within the application. Every action requires external browser activity. I will update this review if I find more. It does 'work', however, as most would expect.

Used to be a good application. Not so anymore. Today, I had to enter my tracking number eight or ten times before it would take. I even un-installed and reinstalled the application with no help. That's not all! I use Informed Delivery. This application does not recognize me. Your online presence is in jeopardy if these annoying glitches don't get fixed immediately. Thanks, Jon, USPS ret. Went back today, and it's still broke. And, the postmaster hasn't even responded to this post.
