Fantastic app: easy to use, easy to customize, handles everything from beginner level dives all the way through trimix dives with several deco gases. I've been using this app for roughly ten years and almost two thousand dives on my desktop PC, my Android phone (synced with the desktop), and my iPad (also synced), and I still think it's great. Also, the developer is still active, still regularly updating the program, and responds to support questions quickly. Ten stars.

Excellent app, switched to it from subsurface because it had better compatibility with downloading my dives from my watch/computer straight to my phone. Excellent support!

its 5stars for simplicity that just works! Update many years later: the only hassle and drawback is the lack of saving or importing config profiles. If you are doing a manual log then no problem (kinda) - you can just copy any pervious dive and you have all the things you want carried over (location, buddy, site, equipment profile, weather conditions, etc.), but not if you are downloadinf a dive from a computer- then you are stuck punching in all those repetitive things over and over...and over

This app has everything I need in one convenient place. I can log my dives, add/edit/update details as I need. It keeps histories of previous data points and helps me prefill everything from equipment to buddies to dive sites. It can sync with my DC and download my stats right there at the dive site so I don't have to worry about doing it later. Continuous updates & improvements and great interaction with developer, paired with a fantastic PC counterpart app make this the complete package.

Edit: very fast bug fixes and response times! Seems like a great app, but my aqualung i470TC won't download dives via Bluetooth. It downloads up to 100% and I get an error message that says; An error has occurred in sub:download_libdc_parsedive (java line:2934) java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string "invalid date" It gives me a continue option, but even if I hit yes the download sits at 100% indefinitely.

This app used to be an iPhone only app. So when I switched sides and bought an Android phone I tried all the competing apps. This turned out to be a complete let down. I was shocked to see how many total unusable apps existed for something as simple as this. This app has everything I need. Interfaces with ALL the computers you can imagine and has a great desktop counterpart.

I use a paper log but wanted to download dives from my Suunto Vyper. I had occasional data issues with Suunto's DM software so tried Diving Log. It downloads data quickly & perfectly. It's also great to do this on my phone (with standard Suunto cable & USB-C adapter) rather than my PC. The app does everything I need and is highly recommended. I had to contact the app's author for support and he was very responsive and helpful. The UI could be better / more intuitive but that's a small issue.

Very compelling app. After testing almost all popular diving apps this one is most promising with all essential features. The only thing I wish it had was looking up dive sites by name with geolocations like a reference database and a built in database of marine life to choose from. Right now we have to add dive sites manually. Syncs well with my dive computer. UI is basic but works well. Could benefit from a more improved design.
