Forces you to have more funds than you will use to charge and has no means to withdraw your balance. I had $7+ which would have given me about 60%-70% charge, which is all I needed. It made me add funds, which was only $10, however, at 80%, when I stopped, the $10+ was still on my account. But remember, I cannot use that $10 without adding more. SCAMMERS

The app took out $66 extra because the charger glitched and kept trying to refill the balance. My charging sessions + the current balance at the time added up to $353, but between that time they took out $420. Every time I contact support they just fall back on they just treat me like I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about. They want to repeat telling me what I already know. I know the app tops off with $10 once the balance is below $5... but where is the other $67 unaccounted for?

Horrendous! Zero stars. I haven't used this in the year of owning our EV; my husband has used it once with great difficulty. Recently had to pay non membership rate to charge my vehicle while traveling, Electrify America app wouldn't connect. Also, this particular location had just 6 charging stations, not 12 as stated on locator map.

The core functionality mostly works, but it's janky. App constantly "dings" me as the car is charging, and clicking the charging notification often doesn't show me the details of the charging state. The in-app charging toast can persist long after I've unplugged. Even clearing the cache doesn't help.

At least 75% of the time it says our payment is declined even though we have our account set up to automatically refill with a credit card on file. And have credit already available on the account. When you call to get them to start it manually you have to answer too many questions and it wastes so much time.

The chargers often don't charge at the rate they report in the app. We've also had several chargers error out while charging. When that happens, they only give you 1 minute to get it fixed before they start charging you "idle fees", but the app doesn't let you know it has errored out until they're already charging you the idle fees. It feels like a blatant money grab to have your chargers error out and then start charging money before you let me know your stuff decided to turn off.

We bought the ID 4 by volkswagen because we fly out weekly and leave the car at the airport. It is a 150 mile trip to Nashville and back. If we decide to do something in Nashville we need to seek out a charging station. The Electrify America charging stations are so unreliable that we usually don't attempt to hang out in Nashville anymore. The entire charging station is down sometimes...How is that a thing...uggg

Dreadful. Won't update my payment default, even though the app is updated and I added a new payment method. Show TWO "default" payments, and won't let me delete an expired card! Calling for help? Ugh. Every stereotype about overseas call centers and attendant lousy help completely justified.
