Woeful app - pretty much useless, they've been "beavering away behind the scenes" for a fortnight now, just to show your usage. Half the pages lead to what are meant to be links yet have no button. Woeful company too. Took them 4 days to turn the electric on in my new flat despite it being Eon when I moved in, and I have to wait until mid November for someone to come sort the gas meter. That's pretty much 3 weeks, in October/November with no heating, hot water or oven. I'll soon be switching.

UPDATE: I can no longer top up via the app; whenever I enter my card details, it loops me back to the home screen. Utterly useless, though to be expected from a company that sends socks out to customers struggling to pay their bills. The balance is woefully inaccurate, showing that I have much more credit than is actually on the meter. This is misleading and useless. It is also days behind in terms of latest data sync.

Update has ruined my experience. Now when I use saved payment details it just resets to empty page and I have to get physical card from wallet to type numbers in manually. Also previous app (couple of years back) you could transfer money from gas to electric and vice versa. Now you have to top up if one has gone low.

For a few weeks, I thought the app was finally what I needed. The usage page changed and showed actual use including standing charge and was updated more promptly, usually only one or two days behind. But the latest update has just reverted back to the old style which is useless and tells you nothing. Why would you do that? Update - the app usage page has now returned to the much better version!! 😄 And another update and the usage page has reverted back to old style again. What's going on Eon?

From the last update yesterday, the app doesn't work as intended anymore. With every update is just getting worse and worse. I am trying to make a payment and it doesn't allow me, sending me to the loading page. If you're intention is to make people choosing direct debit, it doesn't work. Last year I have been charged by your mistake £1600, and took a month of stress to sort it out. Thanks god I didn't have direct debit.

Switched to eon next 3 weeks ago and been trying out this app. I agree with others that there are issues with it. It often doesn't load properly..the so called gremlins in the system error.. The usage charts do give me some data which is usually 2 days behind, but the actual usage amount in £s doesn't take into account the standing charge and VAT , so it is misleading . I'm hopeful that they may use some of their energy to improve this app and so will stick with it for a while ....

With every update this app gets worse and worse, now it won't launch properly. I just get an error message as a welcome. Previously some time ago they hid the payment option to encourage you to sign up to a direct debit. No Eon Next, I won't save money if I go direct debit because you'll take hundreds of pounds in account credit that I'll never see again. Just let me pay my bill, use some of the money to make an app that works!

Slow to log in. Also if you have more than one account (as in more than one property) registered to supply Gas and Electric then it is difficult to tell which account is which .. maybe add each post code to the account for simplicity, ease and efficiency. People cannot remember every account number so creating simplicity is good.
