I have had this epub reader for a long time and it was one of the best. Even bought pro because I love it. However, recently when I try to open books in the app it says file not found despite having the file. I tried everything I can think of and the only thing that worked was deleting the book from the app (not the device) then opening the book from my files and it worked. Nothing else does and when I try to scan for new books it doesn't find them either. I hope this issue gets fixed soon...

my favorite EPUB reader (for android) I've tried so far but the bug where it highlights entire pages when trying to select text that's at the bottom or top of a page is infuriating and makes it impossible to highlight certain sections. I also wish there was an option for the contents list to include page numbers so you know when each chapter starts without having to check manually.

Edit: Uninstall and reinstall the app. It prompts you to allow storage access again. Old: This app is great almost 100% of the time, however, for some ebooks that have long chapters, the app will sometimes start to slow down whenever its doing an animation (scrolling, page turning, tap to bring up menu, etc.). This also doesn't always happen and isn't consistent, with a given chapter being super slow one day and fine the next.

Previously great, but like other folks have reported, as of spring 2024, it won't open books due to permissions problems with accessing files on the phone (nor am I prompted to grant permissions again, as other apps do). I've emailed the dev and gotten no response, which has been true for other issues over the years, too. It's a real bummer because I've loved this reader and have lots of notes and bookmarks in it.

It's great, just wish there was a way to reorder the categories, and add a book to more than one category at once Edit: recently when transferring books between devices, it won't sync my annotations. Very frustrating as I annotate everything I read Edit 2: for some reason it won't let me open any of my books, saying the file in unavailable. Can't figure out what's going on but may need to find a different app with all the issues coming up recently

I downloaded this app specifically because I saw that you can highlight and take notes, and the e-reader I had been using previously didn't have that feature. However, this app's highlighting is very glitchy and frustrating, skipping back and highlighting multiple pages when I just want to highlight a sentence. It makes the highlighter pretty much impossible to use. Once fixed, I'd probably give this app 5 stars.

When I went searching for an e-book reader, I wanted one that had scrolling functionality, minimal ads, and looked clean. This has exactly what I wanted in addition to plenty of nice features. One feature I really liked that I never saw in other e-book apps is the ability to enlarge embedded pictures in e-books. The negative points are that there aren't as many features that many other epub readers have like favoriting.

I have tried several apps and most overwrite the formatting put into the ebook by the publisher, along with other problems. This is not perfect, but it does the best job of rendering the formatting in the ebook. I appreciate that. Now if only they'd put descriptions of the books in the list, and tags, and get them from the metadata, and from calibre, it'd be almost perfect.
