The app is a lot cleaner and better organized than other fishing apps I've used for logging catches. However, it feels a bit limited when it comes to being able to specify exactly what kind of baits, lures, etc. used to log with your catches. Also, the app appears to be a bit buggy when logging catches; All of my catches appear twice as duplicates on my overall list but, when I try to delete the duplicate, it deletes both automatically. Hope a fix comes soon.

Great app. A bit spendy, but if they keep it updated it might be worth it. I have submitted some photos during my free trial and they've been pretty accurately identified. Only real complaint is with the photo import function. It would be nice to have the option of rotating the box in the app, instead of editing the photo and rotating it. And a side note, juvenile sharks can be super difficult to identify...you might want to include a disclaimer to that effect. Good job on the app!

BE WARE OF AUTO CHARGES. This app is suppossed to notify you before renewing and charging your card. Even if you cancel app they will NOT REFUND you your money. App is advertised 12 months for 14.99 but when you try to buy it it will bill you for 29.99...and renewals at 47.99...RIP OFF....NEVER AGAIN

I've only found this app because I found a fish in a saltwater tank at a restaurant, and no one knew what it was. We even showed it to fish biologists who were stumped. I submitted the photo to fishverify and a few hours later I got an email with the name (and alternate names) and a few facts. Definitely a cool trick!

Id's fish but does not properly give state fishing regulations such as catch limits and size as described.

Fish Verify is a Game changer! Accurately ID fish, along with all up-to-date rules & regulations on size and bag limits based on the area your fishing! Monroe County (Keys) seem to be amending these regulations annually! This app takes the guess work out of it! Fish Verify keeps you from mistaking a fish (especially in the same family/species) and avoid getting those FWC fines and embarrassment! One of my favorite features is the catch log for looking back at previous years for reference!

We were watching tv and a picture of a fish came up so I took a pic. The app didnt recognize it but the ops team emailed me back same day to provide the info. We got to learn about a new type of "Tang" that has a life expectancy if 45 years! Super impressed! Super cool app!!!

I paid for the full version, and while you may be able to send in photos and they will get back to you at some point to ID the fish...that isn't what I need. I need to know what it is I have on the hook, flopping around, RIGHT NOW. At that task, this app fails. Too many times now the app just says "no fish detected" when I take pic of fish I just pulled out of the water. However, same pic of same fish Google Lens instantly recognized the pic as a fish & identifies it for me. For free.
