Thermostat does what it's supposed to for the most part. However, the brightness/display is not responding to settings. The thermostat's display will light up randomly and then not turn off. It's so bright that it's been waking us up at night. It does matter what the brightness is set to. It doesn't respond to changing the brightness. Whether or not adaptive brightness or approach to wake is on has no affect. Mysa Support said it was a known bug. I hope it's fixed soon since it's affecting sleep

Overall works as expected, but has a few annoyances. Loading and setting a temperature can be a bit slow, but neither are a big deal. Just make sure the loading animation ends before leaving a screen. Creating schedules needs an improvement. You can schedule a chosen temperature and time to be set on specific days, but once created you have to edit each of those days individually to change it. Otherwise, I've not had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. It's honestly very convenient!

For 2 or 3 weeks now (Jan 2025) I wasn't able to use the app on my phone, I only see a rotating circle. I can't access my home, or my thermostat, or install a new home, reinstalling the app doesn't help. Prior to this, I used Mysa for 4 or so years w/o any issues, on multiple phones. It looks like other users started to experience the same bug recently, please address it. I also rebooted the controller itself, but because the app is unusable I can't really add the controller or control it.

I've been using Mysa for years, and now the app crashed, and I can't get it open. Technical support is useless as it's asking me to do basic things such as uninstall/ reinstall, change password, and things I've already done BEFORE asking for help and now they've dropped the ball completely leaving me to replace my thermostats. I would NOT recommend this app because, or devices because once you have an issue, it's too hard to figure out. You're left in the dark by technical support.

my mysa changed itself to Celsius the other day, so I tried installing this app to change it back, only to find out AFTER setting up an account and connecting to the device via Bluetooth, that I couldn't actually finish setting it up or use the app without wifi. I have data I pay for, I'm not paying extra for wifi just to change the temp of my room on an obviously glitchy device, that just does things on it's own. it's a hazard.

Thermostat lights up at random times in the middle of the night waking us up with bright light. This happens when brightness for sleep AND wake are both set to zero. It also happens when all the other wake settings are turned off and EVEN WHEN THE UNIT IS TURNED OFF. If you value your sleep and sanity DO NOT BUY MYSA PRODUCTS FOR YOUR BEDROOM. The app obviously doesn't control the thermostats at all times. Seems like someone is remotely controlling my thermostats.

This app use to function well. The last few weeks it has been hot garbage. It doesn't show changes to scheduling or just ignores a change, it freezes constantly, won't open in a timely fashion, some features like vacation/away mode have never worked. Furthermore, the user has basically no access to the data that Mysa' takes. Hardware seemed excellent when purchased years ago, quality has really gone downhill since.

I wish there was a dark mode feature and option to manually check for updates. The app itself is very basic. And the tab that says Home Assistant is basically useless. All it does is tell you to go install Google home. It would be better if that page teaches you the common commands or helps pairs your mysa to the assistant apps directly.
