North American Spine Society (NASS) is a global multidisciplinary medical organization dedicated to fostering the highest quality, ethical, value-based and evidence-based spine care through education, research and advocacy.

NASS develops continuing medical educational programs to improve physician and other spine care health provider competency and enhances performance through a comprehensive range of topics. It provides peer-reviewed scientific and evidence-based clinical publications for surgical, medical, and diagnostic spine care as well as coding and patient safety resources such as coverage recommendations, clinical guidelines, EBM training, and professionalism and disclosure references.
NASS also addresses issues related to spine research, including the funding of grants and traveling fellowships, and elevates the voices of spine care providers, expands access to care, and challenges the legislative hurdles facing spine patients and providers.
