While trying to move around environment manually it first spontaneously changed from landscape to portrait then went black, with only a compass symbol in the corner. A message appeared saying App not responding, and option given was to wait or close App. Waiting did nothing, so gave up and closed App. FYI, the App and Samsung S24 Ultra software is up to date as was the App and phone has been restarted.

100% best app for finding things in the sky (for me). Took a minute to figure out that the locations are off-centered just enough so that what I'm searching for is on the screen, while the actual object is just to the side of my screen in the sky... Allowing me to see both at the same time. Helps me figure out if I'm on-target without moving the screen away and back many times to verify. Pay for the app, it's worth it.

Saved my night!! I was so excited for the chance to see Pluto tonight, had all my equipment set up and ready to go, and at the very last minute I discovered that absolutely none of the star/planet mapping apps that I was using included Pluto... except this one!! I went through at least 6 sky map apps tonight alone, and Starlight is the only one I'll be keeping. Thank you so much for keeping little Pluto around, devs!!

Doesn't require to be connected with the internet (but do open it after download whilst connected to the internet). The good thing about this app is it's still accurate even after 2 weeks on no internet connection. It's great for stargazers who don't have any available internet connection; but in the event that you switched off your phone or restarted it, you'll need to open the app whilst connected to the internet.

This app says it's not compatible with my phone. I have a Samsung galaxy a03s. I don't understand how it's not compatible. It doesn't make sense. I wish someone could explain why. The phone it was compatible with prior to this was the LG rebel 4. That phone had an earlier version of android on it. So why is my current version of android not compatible. The developer of needs to explain why. I don't like vague answers.

There is NO search function, and even when I was looking in the right direction, it cannot find the Perseid meteor shower. Apparently this common celestial event is not in its database, makes you wonder what else is missing. But very pretty user interface and very intuitive to use, you move your phone around to find the name of whatever star you're looking at.

Works perfectly on my present phone, a Samsung Galaxy S24+. Years ago, it stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy S9. Crashed constantly. However, there were no issues with subsequent upgrades to the Samsung Galaxy S20 & S22. I absolutely ❤️ this app! Simple and straightforward, and accurate I prefer it over the others I've tried.

its good but sometimes the screen goes wonky and the stars display extra bright and withoit labels, not sure whats up eith thst lol. would be cool if you could show the stars paths or apparent direction and look back or forwards through time but yeah it sort of works, just would be nice to have a few new features heheh ok byeeee
