It took around 10 months to receive after purchase. I used it for a month but it is broken. Device overheats after 30 minutes or so during wintertime. Very difficult to start the device working again. I used it multiple days and collected mapping data but never made any tokens. Not worth the time or trouble so I contacted support for a refund or another device but they said past the return date. So, I made a big mistake spending $461 on a useless thing I can't use. I don't recommend this.

Works, but could use a few things. Can we add a feature to review some footage, like the last 2 minutes recorded or something? How about giving a option for showing how many megabytes is being uploaded? Or how fast, rather than the numbers that dont seem to have a meaning. And most of all, stop downloading program updates automatically on mobile data. A couple updates used 15% of my mobile data. I dont pay for a lot of mobile data as i never stream music or videos.

Took a few tries to figure out how to connect the dashcam which is not as automatic as they would have you believe. Then after working ok for about a week, the app lost the connection to my digital wallet and won't let me reconnect. Edit 2/9/24 2 to 3 stars - Improvements have been made to the UI and the connection to the wallet is more stable, but it still frequently has trouble connecting to the dashcam

It works, but this app is an absolute data monster. I've had it blow through 8 gb of mobile data in a single day-even with the "only upload on Wi-Fi" setting on. I'm not sure why this app uses so much background data, even while connected to Wi-Fi, but if you're on a set plan with limited amounts of data, the Hivemapper device and this app might not be for you.

The app itself isnt the greatest but it gets the job done. If you drive with more than one filming at a time (max is 2 according to the company) you'll have connection/upload issues whether or not even 1 is connected. There are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. The upload bugs are by far the worst. Currently going through a few. Thankfully, the customer service is usually very helpful and responsive.

Hivemapper App works about 50% of the time (updated android w/ plenty of storage). The app constantly asks to connect to the phantom wallet & when it does, I go back to the hivemapper & it tells me it's not connected. I give it a minute, & try again. If it still doesn't connect I restart both devices & start again. I typically dont leave reviews but it's consistently inconsistent. Edit: 2.0 update is way better. Love the response times & fixes these guys put out, best in the biz IMHO.

Dropping from 2 to 1. Not working (again) for 2+ weeks and rewards have been cut so much (10x+ even with a 4 star setup) the same amount of driving gets you nothing. They keep responding to reviews saying they are working on the issues we all report in these reviews and elsewhere but every release just breaks something else or never fixes your individual problem. Sorry to say but these replies on here are completely hollow promises until my camera and app can work reliably for several months.

Such a bad experience and I drive for work. But every other week the app has some issue. The past two days I can't even get the images from the the unit itself even tho my wallet is connected and the app shows it connected. They say it holds lots of images on there but when it worked for one hr last night it only uploaded 2k.images. 10 hours of driving is usually way more than that
