The PowerView® App merges seamlessly with your connected lifestyle, providing a level of convenience and ease that is the crowning touch for your Hunter Douglas window coverings.Features:
• Control Hunter Douglas motorized window coverings, individually or in groups, throughout your entire home.
• Quickly and easily navigate the app using built-in tabs: Dashboard, Rooms, Scenes, and Schedules.
• Add favorite Scenes, Shades, and Schedules to your Dashboard, so they appear first whenever you open the app.
• Create customized shade position settings called "Scenes" for convenience, or to manage your natural lighting and privacy needs throughout the day.
• Put your Scenes in motion using Schedules. Easily program your Scenes to activate automatically at different times of day to deliver the look and comfort you want, without you having to press a button. Configure Schedules to occur at a specific time, or based on unique Sunrise and Sunset times in your specific location. Enabling location services for PowerView may be required to use this feature.
• Easily enable or disable Schedules, so that your blinds take the day off when you do.
• Manage your Home from anywhere with RemoteConnect™. This requires a PowerView® Gateway, an Internet connection, and initial in-home setup.

UPDATE: This app is still terrible and now it says I am remote connected so I have no functionality. If I could I would have never wasted all this money with Hunter Douglas. I call they never actually fix my problem I still have an open issue from 2 years ago with them. The app stopped working none of my automation that I've had set up for years work. And it tells me to connect to the Wi-Fi which I am connected to. Not sure if they pushed out an update but this terrible.

It's horrendous. For the cost of these blinds, the app is barely more than useless. We constantly hit "open" over, and over, and over, while the app gives "no response" errors. Every day, every blind. The only way to make it work is use the external remote control, which of course costs you hundreds more. There's no reason this should be this bad. Any blinds without a remote end up taking 5-10 minutes of reseting the app and trying dozens of times before it finally decides to open.

I wish there was a way to improve the reliability of the connection, and general reliability of my shades. 2 years in, and the shades often do not respond, even with the extra repeater hub, and the troubleshooting steps in the app are limited. This is the category of things that should "just work", but I regret going with this brand of automated shades. When they work, they are super cool. They just need to work.

Sometimes it works sometimes it will miss one have to depend on cameras to look to see that everything is up. The handheld works great. The phone app will not always get them up together. Have to check them to make sure they are all open and or closed.

Terrible app features. App is always opened showing "Connected by RemoteConnect" so can't operate the blinds. There should be an option to simply verify and change wifi networks.

The app, user guide, and website setup instructions ought to tell you that the app can't connect to your shades until the installer "transfers Home ownership" to you. The app shows a warning with unreadably small text. [Developers: "1sp" is the minimum font size to use, where "sp" means scaled pixels -- scaled by the user's text display setting.]

Actually pretty comprehensive and hasn't had an issue in the 24hrs I've been playing with it. You can configure scenes, schedules, the remote buttons, and even the hub's LED brightness in the app. Super easy to transfer ownership. The app even has an LED color chart to interpret the Hub's status. Definitely better than I expected given the low rating on here, so that was a pleasant surprise. I'll update this if it disappoints in the future, but so far would recommend.

Not a very good app at all. We have just changed our router and have had enormous problems in changing the WiFi configuration on the app, which we have still not sorted out. We use other apps to control our surveillance cameras and lights and these were easy to reconfigure. It seems to me that these apps were designed for their agents and not the final customer. You have a high quality blind that is supported by a very low quality and poorly designed app. Please do something about this.
