(PRE-REQUIREMENTS)
Make sure that your Hitachi air conditioner model is compatible with airCloud Go and that you have a wifi network available. Some Hitachi air conditioner models require the installation of an airCloud Adapter.(2)
ENHANCED INDOOR COMFORT
You can adjust the air conditioner’s set temperature, operation mode (cooling, heating, fan, dry or auto (3)), air flow direction and fan speed.
SMART-FENCE
You can link the AC operation to your location. When a user is arriving and enters the pre-set perimeter, the air conditioner automatically turns on to create a welcoming atmosphere. When users exit the perimeter, air conditioners turn off or adopt an energy-saving temperature.

Setup was fairly easy, but the app has very limited functionality compared to what is available on the remote, and many bugs. List of bugs: - weekly schedule always runs with level 2 fan (previous setting should be kept like for the swing) - holiday mode not working from the app (temperature is always set 23degC) - weather on the front page of the app never updates List of improvements needed: - there should be more than one weekly schedule (the old app Hi-Kumo can manage two schedules).

The app is the worst commercial app I ever used. I tried the android app on multiple devices and the iOS app on two iPhones, but the app is stuck on "Connecting to Wireless Network", spent hours on 3 different ACs none of them work. I can see all the Wifi adapters are connected to my home network but it just does not pass the screen, obviously there is not much QA effort put into it.

Very disappointed in Hitachi, slow app, and buggy i some time have to close and open the app two to three times for the options for the heat pump not the greyed out. And the add user function doesn't work..

Can't set fan speed via weekly timer, it always reverts to speed 2. Zero action taken from Hitachi support, they ignore my emails. The app displays an available update, but said update cannot be obtained via Playstore.

Connectivity defect. Impossible to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Does not fulfill its function. The air conditioner was only able to connect to a mobile device (cell phone) as a router, which never justifies its use, since the air conditioner will lose connection whenever the cell phone moves away from the air conditioner. The only benefit of this feature is when the air conditioner connects to the fixed Wi-Fi router/modem in the home, for which the air conditioner was designed.

Initially seemed to work ok, but recently has been randomly changing settings, activating outside the timer hours with incorrect target temperatures. Sometimes it's been possible to override the incorrect settings, but not always - right now we've had to kill the power to the units to stop them blowing hot air into already hot rooms. Completely unfit for purpose.

I successfully registered my AC but there is no AC in the app. I tried uninstall/install, turning phone off/on, changing roaming to ON as I saw in some teoubleshooting pdf, but nothing works! No AC's registered. It's beyond frustrating. I checked my router for devices that obtained IP, and there is MAC with hitachi OID in under DHCP clients. If support can help, it would be appreciated.
