I really like the emulation quality and the straightforward UI here, I'd much prefer launch this over the convoluted RA for my Gameboy needs. It even saves the games in the .sav files that are in the ROMs directory, just like mGBA on PC! I particularly appreciate the integer scaling. Now here are things that are missing that would bring it to godhood imo: shader options, an interframe blending toggle, and multiplayer in the same fashion PPSSPP handles ad-hoc multiplayer. Thanks, Mr John.

First things first. This is a great app. I can finally play all my old childhood games again, the memories are lit! But as of the latest update, is suddenly asks for notification access? Why would it need to send me notifications? Still five stars though, but notification access needs to be removed.

I previously have a POCO x3 pro and this app works great. However I'm now using the POCO X6 Pro and this app doesn't work. My new phone is on Android 14 OS.. not sure if the app is supported on that version... The app keeps looping on the folder location for the roms and it doesn't detect the supported roms. I really love this app, because it's very easy to use. Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this issue... Please help!

It no longer detects any GBA or Zip life in downloads or even with a custom file with the GBA scrips in them.

*FIXED* Reinstall the app if you're having problems. Store a game in a separate folder under main phone storage folder labeled as "Games." Rescan that folder until rom shows up. Start game and save it, Then it will auto populate your johnemulators with subfile paths game, GBA, GBC. Once auto populates, you can move files into the johnemulators folder. Should appear after scanning that folder. All future downloads now should work in the johnemulators folder. Enable no ads if previously bought.

It's works great! Only issue is that ROMs that save progress, don't. Like, in the menu that the ROM provides, you can tap a save progress button, then the ROM says "saving... Don't power off" But if you exit GBAC, and go back into the ROM you played, all saved progress is wiped.

It would be better if you have the option to change the controllers it so hard to control the game if your phone cannot do multiple touch task like for example if you need to go to forward up at the same time some phones can't do that and mine is like that is there anyway that you can have that option changing the controls it would be better that way. Can you guys make the controls like digital control?

Been using this app for a few years now and never had an issue until today...suddenly I tried to open the app and load a save but the game just crashes and closes. When I try to re-open, it says the game has a bug and try Uninstaller then reinstall, which I did, and it loaded a bit further before crashing. Now it says to wait for an update from the publisher. Plz help! I love playing this game and reliving my childhood pastimes! Edit:after not playing for a couple days I tried it and it works!
