It doesn't work properly at the moment. The saves backup works but the games back up just says "Completed successfully" immediately without backing up anything. It'll be cool if it could back up to other services besides Dropbox. People that use emulators are often tech savvy, so an option to backup to personal clouds would be really cool. Even if it is through something basic like SFTP.

Edit: as of today, possibly prior, I too am getting backup failures. When I unlinked my account then tried to link it again I get "this app is currently disabled". Is this an issue with DB or with the John cloud backup thingy app? Never worked on my note 8, both note 20 and teclast m40 now not backing up, never even got to install on my galaxy tab a8.

Unfortunately it's not working. I don't know if it's an issue with Dropbox itself or the app, but when linking it it just reloads the "allow" page and the app just closes itself, so i can't enable sync anymore.

im so sad i installed and connected everything to the folder where i keep my game, but as soon as i went back to the john gbac emulator app the files couldnt be opened. then when i unlinked my account to see if that would fix the issue, all my save data was deleted. please help!! this is my favourite emulator system but i cant keep losing my data over these issues 😢

Absolutely love that this is a hub for the games and save files to upload to using Dropbox. Really added to the impression I had when I found this.

I like this app, but I'm having the same issue everyone is having right now. It looks like the issue happens when you re-install the app because I just got a new phone and it's not working when I try to link with my Dropbox. (please fix so I can give you 5 stars)

Won't work. First I tried to tranfser the files manually from one device to another exactly how they were originally and it didn't work. Then I found this. I was so happy, but after many attempts, I can't get my save file from my tablet to my phone on john emulator. Thats 6 hours worth of gameplay I can't have access to on my phone. Great concept, just can't use it. Pretty bummed.

I keep getting an error saying "this app is currently disabled" whenever I try to link my Dropbox to the app. I tried turning on app permissions, didn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, didn't work. Anything I can do to fix this?
